those look way rustier than mine. Yours are exactly how I want mine to look. Just have to give it time I guess. The pics I sent make mine look far rustier than they actually are.

Had my wedge fitting at Artisan today and really enjoyed how unique it was compared to all the other fittings I've ever had.  First thing I learned was that my raw Vokey SM8 55 and 60 were built 2 and 3 swing weights light, where as the 50* which I love was pretty much perfect in its build. Lots of swings outdoors with some yellow ProV1Xs and I ended up getting fitted with a 55* DS + leading edge grind, a 59* DR + leading edge grind both 2* flat with Nippon 125 wedge shafts.  Jaime said the 50* I had was great and no reason for me to change.  These new wedges will be a big upgrade and just make the game easier for me with grinds that fit my game to a t.

Noob question.  Did you need to have your shafts pulled for Artisan to blast the heads?

I have 46, 50, 55, 60 and thinking of just getting the 55 and 60 replaced but not entirely sure!

I just went from a 58 to a 60 on my 2nd order.  Honeslty i think i like the 58 better so it has been back in the bag after a reblast.

I haven't heard a thing and I've asked multiple times. I was hoping they would start slow with like the first 20 player numbers.

I already got it a couple months ago.  I have had them blast my faces I think twice as well.

It will be interesting. If I had to guess they will cost more than Miura irons based on the other products they sell. Their putters started out around $700-$800 and now north of 1k.

Short term, the "mass produced" irons will be at similar price points as todays ultra-premium brands, some time later, they will release a raw version done by MT individually...those are going to break the bank based on what they said during my time there.

 

You have a pretty good indication with the Asia release which AFAIK was 3k for the set (5-PW). Those are the same irons, finish will be slightly different.

The asia release are about $2.5K depending on the shaft and for 5-P.  The MT Ltd series about $250 more.  I just went from the HM to the CB.  Will be getting 8 wedge heads reblasted next month.

Getting my wedges blasted as I type.  I had the honor of a mini tour. Really cool place and people.  Made my day! Thanks Artisan!

So I got all the faces of my wedges reblasted and what a job these craftsmen at artisan are.  Fantastic and beautiful contrast with the heavy rusting my humid climate propagates.

 

Im quite sure they don't recut the grooves but they look like they have been. 

 

Do excuse my greasy thumb prints on a couple of them. Had some good tacos while waiting for these to get done. 

 

Oh.. And my prototype artisan wedges with the MM initials.  Turns out they have a close link to Hunter Mahan.....

And for those curious about the irons.. Shouldn't be too long now.  

 

As some have posted prior, the US version will be all satin finished and they look stunning.  I prefer them to my Japanese Market part satin, part chrome finish.  I managed to take a pic of both side by side. 

 

And some of the raw iron heads as well which im told unfortunately won't make it to market..  Well not anytime soon at least.  

 

Being a putter nut, I also spent quite a while chatting with John about artisan putters. Lovely gentleman who plain knows his s***.. I really appreciate his time and sharing... I tried the 0220 as well.. I think it was that.. Argh... I didn't plan on another Artisan putter... Really good stuff. 

 

And finally for the dechambeau fans.. 

 

Fantastic afternoon.  I love Texans.  John, Jamie, Stephanie and the artisan crew are so welcoming.  Had a blast. Highlight of my visit to Dallas.

It wouldn't surprise me that Artisan isn't using one (maybe several) of the old Nike Golf iron engineers to help them with CAD as they develop their product line.  Could also be the forging company engineers with input from MT and JH as to overall ascetics.  I'd certainly game any product coming out their door.
