And the putters - took ownership of the 0319 (fang) and it fits so well. Distance control is phenomenal. Only 2 rounds in and the 40 footer was nice.

 

This is really the way to go - get fit at Artisan. Great experience.

Got fit and just received my wedges yesterday, I am not very good about taking pictures but they are beautiful.

It's too cold these couple days to go to the range, but holding these wedges in my hands, they feel so balance, so perfectly fitted for me.  It's a feeling I never have before and I have been playing golf for over 25 years.

Love all these wedges, wish people would post more about what sort of grinds they were fit into. I'm just curious to hear more about the process, I'm hoping to go one day soon.

I have the S grind on my 50 and DS grind on my 54 and 58. I also have a small bevel on the leading edge of all 3 wedges with a bit of toe relief on the 50. 

 

I think there are a few write-ups of people's fitting experiences in this thread somewhere. My fitting was over 2 years ago, so they may have changed somewhat since then.

I have SB on the 54, and  R/DS on the 58 with some bevel work.

 

After spending 4-5 hours talking and hitting all kind of shots (different shaft, different grinds) with Jamie, he know what I want and I trust his expertise in deliver the perfect wedge for me.

I got my Artisan Wedges back in the summer, one of the coolest golf experiences I’ve ever had. Mike is an awesome guy who is a blast to have a Miller and bs.

I can’t wait for there irons to be ready, I got to hit them while I was there and I’m sold.

The wedges are perfect for me and have aged even better.

Looking good.  I got mine 2 years ago so figured it was time to get a replacement for my lob wedge and should get it tomorrow.  Will post pics.

Received mine after 3 hrs of fitting with Jamie last July. They are raw and they are wonderful. I don't know the grinds. But I am a mid bounce guy - they are around 8 of bounce with lots of grinding in the 55 and 59 and a beveled leading edge.

Here is my new 60 and a pic of my old gamer 58 with the same finish on it.  Kinda wish i would have got a new 54 as well but have another putter in the works so first things first.

The wedges are so nice, I am thinking about ordering in addition to the 54, 58, another 50 and 46 PW.  They just feel so balanced.

 

I also asked them about the irons, currently I am on the waiting list number 1267, he is thinking possible next year before they can get to me.

I have the 46, 50, 54, and 60 in the wedges and would not change a thing.  Been thinking about the irons as my number should be close.

Did they give you any information on a release date for the irons? I've been asking almost weekly for a year.

I've got the Japan release irons.  What's the difference between the Japanese release and those direct from Artisan (apart from fitting).  Is the general shape and design the same?

The pics I have seen of the Japan release heads looked pretty much identical to the first set of protos I saw/hit at the shop back in early 2021.  At that time, Mike told me there would be some changes to the finished version of all the head types.

Need to get out to the shop to have my wedges blasted and checked for loft/lie.  Been a lot of mat practice this fall/winter.  And I need to talk to John about another putter...

Looking for some heavier ones to try out as I reshafted with the new la golf soho and sweet rollz grip which has thrown the swing weight off. Looking for 20g and/or 25g weights as Artisan is currently backordered on putter weights 😞

Side note, I saw Artisan raised the prices of their wedges yesterday.

Got my wedges reblasted as I’m waiting on my fresh set to arrive.  This will be my third set of wedges and I have two putters.  I know I got issues
