Team is still progressing thru the prototyping phase. No release date or plan yet just noting that Mike says they will be ready when they are ready.

 

Once ready, they will be for current Artisan customers only first. Expect a similar fitting experience to the wedges (2-3hrs total going thru the head types, gapping, shafts etc)

I have not come across anything since those pics were posted on the ameblo blogs; even the flyer/pamphlet that had the pics said info coming soon....i guess its a waiting game for the time being. what i would like to know is who is forging these?

 If like the wedges, it'll be forged by Kyoei which happens to be my favorite forging house.

Just had an Artisan 58r wedge in my hand in Japan. Things sat so nice. If I wasn't recovering from a broken arm, I would have needed to try it. So nice.

Here's my new build. Artisan 0219s but has a one-off hand-welded and then sanded/polished flow neck.

Was there today and John said the irons will be here around August or September.  I saw all 3 versions and they look great but it was raining and in boots so could not hit them.  Obviously a ton of demand already but he said for the normal folk they will start at player 1 and go from there to see who is interested.  Looking at maybe 150 sets a year for now. 

 

I also saw 2 new putters that John just came out with and they are some different versions of the 0308 and 0519 both a bit thinner than the pervious models.  As with everyone else they are too having issues sourcing components so build times may very.

Mine are almost a year old and had one blast by them and in great condition, if I move back to Scotland this summer I am going to get a backup set made. Also spoken to Jamie about a 2 wedge setup for my old man!

I have gamed them. Awesome wedges. I needed to reorder new ones and looking to finalize the specs, colors and stamping now.

I am heading up to Artisan in 3 weeks time, getting my dads wedges with Mikes links grind on it.

 

Interesting to see how mine perform on links ground from the end of July onwards. I am not going to order a new set to next year now they have a UK way of ordering; will chat to them about that when I am there.

Good guess but no. Don’t know if they will go in or not but I know they were picked up colonial week with testing to start soon after. Haven’t heard any follow up since.

Would be surprising since he's a Grindworks partner and not sure he's tied down to them by contract...

 

Little over 15 months with my set (50,56 & 62) and happy as can be with the wedges...Plan on ordering a few more soon to roll in as replacements...To be honest, best club I've purchased from them is my 0418c putter John built me...It's helped pay for all the Artisan purchases by itself...So very good!!!...

LOL, I was by there the other day to say hi to Steve R and then visit with Mike and John.  Notice the Nike robot bay had been updated to a new hitting bay.  I saw the swing robot hit a lot of balls out that door.

 

I'll be by Artisan again in the next couple of weeks to tour blast the faces of my wedges.  I'll be sure to find you and say hi while I'm there.

I think I might have met you when you came in that day actually. Think I was teaching in the small bay while they hung the art work in the big bay.

Good to see you posting some again- hope all is well with you and yours👍🏻 I am anxiously awaiting the public release of the irons so can put one of my Artisan wedge sets back into play with appropriate set of other tools.
