All they really need to do is bring out the retro TW13 Masters editions before next April. Their servers would melt on the drop.

I wore the TW13 for years, was a great shoe but it did have an issue. The shoe was entirely made of some sort of non breathable rubber material, many guys complained about this on these shoes. Your feet got hot and damp in them, especially the black ones.

 

Right, but when asked, from what I remember, most of those guys wore cotton socks. Yuck. Your feet will be damp any time you wear cotton socks.

 

That, or playing in temps over 100.

 

I played 100's of rounds in my 2 pairs, always with moisture wicking socks, and never experienced that issue. Though, in truth, the vast majority of those rounds the temps were 80 or less. Though the rounds it was over 80, and over 90, I didn't notice it.

 

Different climates could have a lot to do with different experiences.

 

yea, I don't have smelly feet issue at all like some people do but these in particular did get a like swampy dungeon smell to them. I was playing in midwest summers. Lots on complaints for this on these shoes. I believe the next iteration they tried to make more breathable but they were uglier.

I agree, I would buy up Tiger gear right now. Off the shoe topic a little, but I liked the v neck sweater vests he wore this week. Looked, but didn’t see them for sale anywhere. I think Rory was wearing a similar version. Sharp look. Anyone able to locate these?

Hmm, not sure about those. My current TW 15s are the best golf shoes I've had since the original TW shoes from the late 90s (don't remember the model but they had leather soles and uppers, looked like dress shoes and had the old TW logo on them) - I like them so much I got married in them ffs!

 

They're the only golf shoes I have at the mo so was looking for some TW 19s to take the load off them, but going by those pics I'll be after a pair of the new Air Max ones they've brought out.

 

Shame, as the TW range have always been a comfortable and well made pair of shoes.

 

Edit, found the old ones I was referring to - and even found a pair for sale if you are a size 6 hehe.

The 71 was an improvement simply by the removal of the velcro strap.

I've found myself wearing my white tw 14s quite a bit here lately. So easy to clean and I always seem to play well in them.

Me too, I love my 17's since I cut the weird lacing system out 100% relying strictly on the velcro straps. Solid and easier and better on the top of my foot when walking. The materials are just so much more premium than the 71's. If the 19's have the premium leather material of the 17s vs the 71's, they will be great
