IOW, they're priced perfectly. 

 

2nd Swing is like selling / trading in your car to the dealer.  You'll do OK and it's easy.  Selling on BST / EBay is like selling your car to a private party.  It's going to take some more work and you have to deal with tire kickers, but you'll get more money.  

 

I've been selling on EBay during COVID and prices for used gear are up due to demand for golf.  I've also started to just list items for a fixed price for 30 days vice doing an auction.  Once people "watch" your item, you can make them an offer or they can make you and offer.  I've also found that if you wait long enough on EBay, some dude is going to have a couple beverages one night and overpay for your stuff.

By the way. . . the original 7's was 2014. That makes this the 7th annual. Original event promotional material. How far we've come.

We certainly have come far since the first 7s.  

 

City giving up playing ProV1s has been the biggest change.

People on ebay bought my used golf shoes during the shutdown, I know this to be true.

I bought a pair of Nike LC4 golf shoes at Ross for $19.99 like 2-3 years ago.  They were a dark navy color so I didn't know what to match them with and I never wore them.  They were still new and I found them in my basement last week and sold them on EBay for $110 shipped.  Crazy world.  Might have got more money if they were used.  😬

From there, its gotten ugly. Aiyyer is worried about being short $10 should he lose, throwing his budget out of whack till his Social Security check arrives on the first of November.  Personal insults and threats have flown.  At the moment, everyone is taking a timeout.

I'm dying to see what @Ocgolfrick has to say about @SullGolf losing it for the talls in the playoff.

I figured CityGame was going to house me in the C&P and told the new guy he needed to take a point to balance it out (he delivered).  My chipping has not been good.

 

Then he made up the pole-off after watching me chip like dog poop for the last 27 holes.  Totally unfair decision by the organizer to benefit his team.  New guy and I skunked the smalls captain and kept him under check until he miraculously hit the pole.  I'm declaring this year's 7s under official protest.
