Wow Webb Simpson is looking good. I never would have guessed him having a good chance of winning his match.

 

Funny player, when he's off he's really bad but when he's on he can beat any field.

One thing I've noticed the US is struggling with is matching the line with speed. They are being more aggressive with their putts, but they don't seem to be changing their lines. It's easy to do when you get in team events. You can have must make putts where the 2nd putt doesn't matter so you hit it harder making sure you get it there. If you don't adjust your line, you'll miss high a lot. Which the US has done consistently this week.

 

Of course, also never playing the course until this week is a stupefied move by most of the team. That will hurt putting always.

I believe I just heard Feherty asked from a EU player perspective what does the RC mean. His answer paraphrasing: " For us it was considered a second major to the Open. We as players were judged by majors and RC's. For the Americans it's not the same. They're judged by majors and not so much by the RC. I'm saying they don't care, but it means more to the EU players"

 

Anyone else catch that?
