I was 6-7 in '69-'70 and just starting to appreciate the music playing on my moms AM radio and those blaring from the cars of teenagers in our hood.  6-7 years old probably sounds young to you BUT I've loved music for ~55 years so I know it's just a part of my soul.

 

In 1976, at age 13, I can tell you EXACTLY where I was when I stopped dead in my tracks to listen to a rock song blaring from a house of young people maybe a 1/4 mile away.  This was that song:

 

 

I was conceived in a test tube to start a 60's/70's thread in a golf forum.

What do you remember spinning the most in the jukebox?  And do you remember specific buttons (D14, G9, etc)?

c-7 was Crocodile Rock, if I remember right. We had a lot of songs from the 60s and early 70s. My Dad also had a lot of 50s songs on it. Mostly soft rock, popular songs. This forum relives a lot of the memories and songs. It's why I am here! My kids love this music too, so I feel grateful.

Appreciate the well wishes. I did feel different today, not a great feeling to be honest.
