Similar to Titleist Velocity

Hello Fellow WRXer's,

I am looking into getting some golf balls for my father. Currently, he is a fan of the Titleist Velocity.

Which ball(s) would you recommend that are similar in terms of performance and price?

My uneducated opinion is that pinnacle rush is a very similar ball and will save you a few bucks

If you are you just looking for a cheaper alternative? Perhaps, Dick's sporting goods D2 line? I prefer the D2 Feel. But, their distance ball might line up better with the velocity. You can often find these on sales: 2 fers or 3 fers. Buy online. Limited-Time Sale: Get 2-4 for $12.50 Each or 5+ for $9.99 Each on Top Flite D2+ Golf Balls! I think it is the same price in the store too. Same price options to the Velocity? Maybe the new E6 two piece, E6 speed or Diablo Tour?

Same price. Sounds like you're just looking for something a little different. Callaway SuperHot? similar price distance ball. It has 3 pieces, which generally gives you a better feel and some green side action. The Velocity does not stop on the greens at all.

The Velocity is a good ball. I've always liked playing it. Similar (at least to me) is the Get Sum. Get Sum seems higher off the mid-short irons...
