a titleist account can order them to keep in store but they have to order a minimum of 6 dozen. The demand for these outside of forum golfers is probably low so I would agree seeing them in stores is going to be rare.

Does anyone have any numbers compared to the TP5x?

I tried it a couple days ago. It felt really hard compared to all other balls, felt harder than a pinnacle rush for some reason. Definitely lower spin on all clubs and that was an issue for me. Lowered driver spin by maybe 100 on avg. Pw spin was lowered by like a 1000.

You can order from titleist and customize if you want.

they won’t be available at retail like the standard Prov1 or 1x because they are for an extremely small segment IG golfers so it’s not smart business for titleist or retailer to stock them

I keep hearing about the limited number of golfers this ball will fit, has Titleist or any reviewer stated what that profile is? I am an X player with 95-100 driver swing speed that could use more distance but don’t want to give up spin with wedges and short irons. Titleist or any reviewer is this for me when the weather warms up?

It’s a Prov1x with lower spin. There’s several articles out about its design from interviews with titleist reps when it was announced

Left Dash has a similar flight to the (2019) Pro V1x since it’s a high-flying golf ball, but with dramatically lower spin and a little bit firmer feel. For simplification purposes, it’s essentially a low-spin Pro V1x.

Played the left dash in Florida last week with the 2020 Bx, 2019 Pro V and AVX. The left dash seemed to fly shorter than the other two for me. My preference was for the Bx. I have a few sleeves left to play when the weather turns and season opens to compare to see how much the Florida wind affected the ball flight.

TP5 has the most spin, then TP5x, and left dash has the lowest spin of them all... by a mile.

 

The left dash is a rare profile designed for the fastest swingers in the game. This ball is incredibly low spin through the bag with a little bite and sizzle with shorter clubs.

The customization is more so the standard personalization of text on the ball. Titleist doesn’t offer customized numbers on these. Going thru your retailer won’t change that, but you could check. In my experience they are limited to what is also on the titleist page

I tried these today and they're definitely a firmer tour ball. I didn't dislike them though. I think they play, for me, as advertised. I'd keep playing them.

It doesn’t seem to have any difference on chipping and pitching spin wise than the X. It does feel a little harder when putting which is fine. It definitely launches a little higher and flys a little farther than the X. I am switching to it from the X

The more I play this ball, the more I'm convinced the reason it remains a "secret menu" item and wasn't mass produced for retail is the firmness of the feel and the more clicky feedback that comes with that. Since that's never been a deal breaker for me (grew up playing Top Rocks and Pinnacles), as always YMMV but I see absolutely no down side to what this ball offers. It really is like the second coming of my favorite ball from days gone by, the Nike Tour Accuracy DD. Higher launch, lower but still controllable spin, tight flight patterns, perfect performance characteristics on scoring clubs, and at the fast/long end of the bag the Left Dash ball has an extra gear that nothing else on the market can touch at the moment.

Just snagged 3 dozen for under $150 after taxes so I’m pretty happy. Going to be playing this golf ball throughout my golf trip in Arizona.

I’ve played this ball the last 2 weekends and I’m liking it more and more. I’m a very high spin player so I’ve been trying the lower spin balls. I have liked the AVX but I’ve felt I lost some distance with the longer clubs (driver and 3 wood). With the left dash I feel like I’ve picked up the distance with longer clubs but still kept the lower spin on irons. In fact this last weekend I hit 2 second shots on a par 5 with my 3 wood. I hit the AVX first and I struck it well and it was on the front edge. So I decided to throw down a left dash just to see and I caught it about the same as the AVX and it ended up on the back of the green. It does have a harder feel but I actually don’t mind it at all.

Very happy with the ball after one round. My wedge and short iron shots aren't spinning back off the green like they sometimes do with the standard V1X. Iron distances seem to be similar, and ball flight seems to be a bit high.

Ive played this ball exclusively now for a few months and it has really helped me gain nearly 40 yards off the tee. The only few down sides ive seen from this ball is when my driver speed is dipping below 110 club speed, ball just falls out of the sky. Just by my sight and experience my avg driver speed is 115 and launch about 12-14 degrees. The ball maintains a slight rise until it apexs. So probably 170 ball speed and 2500 to 3000 rpm. Second downside being the need to replace the ball every 3-4 holes. I have played a single ball for 4 rounds straight and its still round and flies right but looks like its been drug behind a truck for 20 miles.

Great ball, im trying out some rockflights next.
