PGA SS is clearing out Honma clubs

All TW737 series, must be over 50 drivers and 40 fairways and hybrids on rack, driver for 119.97, fairway for 99.97 and hybrid for 79.97, irons for 499.97 I believe, they also can match any coupon/promotion you have from other stores like dicks or GG, so it can be easy to save another $20 to $60 depends on what you buy. I end up purchasing a fairway for 79.97 after matching $20 off from GG.

The Rose Proto irons look great. But I’d like them all the same if they were just called Honma MB.

And Axis putters aren’t flying off the shelves because of him either. Not even sure where to buy one other than finding them online somewhere.

The Fly-Z is a great driver. What don’t you like about it? What do you think you’d improve with a different driver?

If you’re in a PGA SS, give the 737 irons a try. Between the Vizard graphite shafts or the Modus steels, they’re bound to feel smooth for you. At the time I hit them they were blowing them out for $500-$600, which I still wasn’t going to give them for irons made in China. I did snag a set of 747v’s with modus tour 120s which I am currently gaming. I love them. I recommend at least trying the Honma irons. The MBs look gorgeous, I just really liked the 747v.

I think most/many buyer are with you on that as well. Used 717/727 clubs, Sakata Japan forged are sold on ebay for more than the new 737. They are all great sticks, but many still prefer their Honma from Sakata Japan.

Will GG match the other way? The nearest PGA Superstore from me is 2hours away.

PGASS is blowing out the older models. If you have a GG with the fancy Honma display like mine, they are selling the new stuff. There prob won’t be anything at GG to match unfortunately. Do you need to run an errand 45min to an hour in that general direction? If so, go and then tell your wife the PGASS was just a few minutes down the road from that.
