2016 Taylormade M2 driver

I just picked up one of these in great shape with the Fujikura 60 stiff shaft. I've looked online to find the tuning manual but I could find every model but that one. Does anyone have a link or pdf? Would also be interested in any feedback on this driver. I've read some threads but any other input would be appreciated. Thanks.

The tuning for this model is identical to any other TM driver. Four basic settings - std loft, lower loft (open face), higher loft (closed face) and standard 2* upright. Any shaft from the jet speed onwards will work fine. Great driver !

I’ve been on the M2 train since 2016 and have tried to “upgrade” several times to the new stuff. But once I put the M2 against the newest driver on a simulator, the M2 always (and I mean always) keeps up with the new stuff. The 2016 M2 driver that will definitely go down as one of the GOAT drivers. And the stock Fuji shaft is actually a great shaft. I have another shaft that I use too but the stock Fuji is solid.

That's good to hear. I wasn't sure about the shaft since I've never hit it. This driver feels much lighter than my Titleist even though it's a little longer in length. I'm just praying for the 25 mph winds to die down today so I can hit this beauty tomorrow!!

The 2016 M2 8.5 might be the longest driver ever made when hit out of the middle. I prefer the forgiveness of the G410 line, but when playing in scrambles the M2 is definitely in the bag!

Word of teh day, context. So now we go from 25mph to 44* and rain... Actually was a useful contribution, but you need to actually say more than just wind...

guy i play with has just bagged one in 10.5* R flex with the Fuji and has found his driving nirvana, was looking for some info as well for him, what gentles said above is great info.

 

adjusting the lie angle to the 2* upright setting should promote what exactly?

I hit it today and was very pleased. Much different feel and sound than my 917 and launches the ball higher even though they are both 9.5* Likely due to differences in shaft. It seemed longer but I didn't have a rangefinder to make sure. Really liked though and plan to game it. Thanks
