What's your favorite Miura irons of all time?

I had a set of these I played for 4.5 years. Awesome!

I just recently changed to the Passing Point Straight Necks since I wanted new grooves and a bit added forgiveness.

I did sacrifice a little workability.

CB57 was a good looker when I hit them, but I like the CB1008 a tad more in the looks department and felt a smidge more forgiving to me.

Never got to hit them but MC501's seem to blend with the MBs nicely, great top line. I can't stop hitting my CB's this winter on range/sim just yummy.

Baby Blades tend to get the vote for best looking from the many commenters I have seen. I agree, they are good to look at and feel well, Miura like.

I just like me some forgiveness for my low/mid cap game.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time with them back to back and its been a while. Top line was more what I was looking at and they both are thin and good to look at and I recall the soles being pretty similar.

An old FS add with both in them on side view:

They are about as close to perfection as I've played. In fact, they are my all-time favorite in over 40 years of golf.

From 2014 thru 2017 I played over 900 rounds with the CB57's/X100 with Miura/Chikara wedges. Prior to that was two sets of '07 Tournament Blades with Zodia wedges. IMHO the 57 is the perfect bend of blade workability with the forgiveness of a players CB. The only issue I had was the durability of the 57's. In the 4 years I previously mentioned I wore out 3 sets of 57's. In short, I have a hard time justifying $1600 every year or so for a set of irons. This is the only reason I switched to PING S55.

I have one more set of 57 heads (4-9) that I'm gonna shaft with MMT 125TX to save for a day when I slow down.

Go ahead and get them. You'll be very glad you did.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

I don't know about best ever, but the MB101 is awesome. Way better for me than the 501's due to less offset. I loved everything about the 501's except couldn't get past the offset in the shorter irons. 101's setup perfect behind the ball.

I have only had 3 sets but the TC 201 is checking all the boxes in the limited rounds played. They set up well behind the ball, not much offset and just right in overall size.

We've been blessed with a mild winter so far, and a lot of range time for me. I usually bring one a CB1008 with me along with my regular P770/90's.

Still really enjoying these clubs, and really starting to appreciate that subtle miura feel when well struck...only 4 weeks until a trip to FL and the full bag comes with me.

I still want to hit the regular MB's some time: BB's are lovely but just too wee for me :)

Just got my set of TC 201s pair with DG X7s. I am definitely in the honeymoon phase but these things are sooooo good. I have only had a set of MB001s for a brief period of time and these are just as good in the low irons and better (for me) in the long irons. I don't play enough for a full set of blades. with that said, I am now thinking of picking up MB101s in 7-pw just for S and Gs.

CB-57s are very close to perfect in terms of profile, and are probably my favorite Miura set ever. It's probably the one iron set that is absolutely safe from being traded or sold, as I still take them for a spin a few rounds a year.
