PXG Order Time

You know this whole thing seems like someone said "Why don't we..." and they ran with it before thinking it through and then they started realizing what they had done. Orders were coming in bigger than expected and they continued - still not thinking it through - then as reality set in, they decided to change some things and also "lie" to customers about what is going on. How will it all turn out? Probably for the good for them.

I have to say the Gen 2 irons feel awesome hitting into my net. I changed some specs though - specifically lie angle and shaft weight so it will be a significant change from my Titleist AP3's with AMT Black shafts. The black box would only have sat in the attic, but its the point of it. Well the brown box goes in the attic, not sure about the black one I did get - that thing is cool :)

Thinking maybe I can call them if see if I can’t sell them back my black boxes. Then charge then $30 for the single club box and $60 for the full set.

With my experience on my hybrid order. I will not be purchasing any PXG clubs in the future.

They should only charge for what it costs in shipping, This is illegal if they falsely claim their charges with a brown box. In addition they ship ground for those prices.

Any of you have your delivery date change? Just curious. I thought they shipped 2 day?

I thought the same but mine shipped Thursday and won’t arrive until next Wednesday

They ship ground unless you pay more.

And for those complaining about the box- I sent my 0211 set back because they weren’t anything special and it cost me 63 dollars to ship that big ass box back to them (you have to handle return shipping on your own-they won’t send you a label and deduct the return shipping cost from your refund). I did insure it for $1000 so I’m sure that’s where some of the costs came from, but a regular box would have made me happy

As far as shipping costs - they do not pay the same amounts that we do. I am sure it is not cheap but it is a part of doing business. The customer ill will costs you a lot in the end IMO. Its like saying Mercedes was going to deliver their cars with crappy floor mats because the cars were on sale. You can replace them, but why? Its cheap and not associated with Mercedes.

I have had three orders ship so far and it is all over the map. Mine have all been FedEx Home, and they ship them at a time where they will not go out that night - there is a one day delay because it arrives after the cutoff to be shipped out that night. One took 5 days, one took 3 days and the current one has moved 83 miles in four days :)

I have to say though, the clubs I have gotten so far have been fantastic.

Well I got my money back from the credit card company. It was pending for 3 days, and closed out today. No indication if PXG responded to the disputed charge or not. In any event, I won't be ordering anything from them again. Over and out.

I ordered my Left Hand 0811x Gen 2/0341x Gen 2 May 31st. Expected build date shows 6/20. Called yesterday, apparently they are now operating on a 4-5 week delivery time. Supposedly the Gen 2 drivers will be cranked out hard over the next two weeks, that is what I was told yesterday at least. We will see... fingers crossed!

They were fine but the box had been slightly accordioned - which always makes you worry when you open it. When I saw no inner box, I knew why it happened - they were all good in there despite being able to move around.

Now my fairway order that was supposed to be started yesterday is still waiting. Not sure if anyone noticed that they took the price for non-standard shafts for irons from +$25 to +$35. They also have apparently run out of the Lamkin Z5 PXG grips. The whole thing has been interesting to watch.

What is the over/under on whether the sale ends at the end of June or will it be extended again?

Last time I called they said it would ship out in the next day or two. This time they told me they are just now working on orders that came in the first week of May. My order is not likely to ship for another 2 weeks :-/ At some point I just have to forget about the order and be surprised when it gets here.

For an extra KITN, my orders were shipped on Wednesday of last week. Supposed to arrive on Saturday, then changed to Sunday. Nothing was delivered. Today, FedEx doesn't know where my package is....

Based on my experience, I would tack on another 2 weeks to their two week prediction. I was told 2 weeks over 3 weeks ago. They still can’t give me a timeframe. Coming up on 6 weeks since I ordered.

How did this happen? Some of us that ordered in April haven't even received shipping information (or even concrete evidence that our 0211s are even being built yet). Good for you that you got your clubs but also a bit perplexing. (No offense intended!!)

based on box measurements on FedEx tracking, I didn’t get a black box which is disappointing, but o well ??‍♂️

For my 0311 Gen 2 irons, they just sent what appeared to be the outer box that the Black Box would fit inside of. Maybe we should post pictures on Twitter and tag PXG with @PXG, loving that #BrownBoxFeeling :)

Hearing that they are being shipped in plain boxes is disappointing.

Gen2 XF irons on order since 6/1 and hoping to get them before July, but from reading this thread it'll probably be mid July delivery.

Ughhh- two days on Fed Ex truck out for delivery. Two days no delivery. An all around brutal experience.
