3 wedge setup allows me to carry a 2iron/hybrid club which I find more useful than an extra wedge.

I have a 47* PW and currently carry a 56* and 60*. I am thinking about either adding a 52* to cover the gap between my PW and SW or switching my 56* for a 54*. I really don't want to drop a club to add a third wedge so I may just opt to switch out the 56*.

47, 52, and 58. I used to have 56 and 60 but split the distance so I could add a 3 wood. I carried just a 5 because it is more versatile(easier to get airborn off of turf) for my game than a 3. The 58 opens up for flops or high pitches, and on long bunker shots I go with the 52 so it runs out rather than check like the 58. Right or wrong that's just how I do it.

I like bending 60's to 58's because I feel it gives me a little more versatility and the heel grinds are more to my liking. Goes a little farther but I still have the ability to open it all the way up and flop it.

I use 47/52/56/60. It may seem like too many but if gives me infinate options around the green. And after all thats where your score is made. Particulary mine with my atrotious long game. Every now and then I will think 'what do I need a 56 and a 60 for?' but then I will get a flop shot or shot out of a deep bunker and realise that four wedges is a big help.
