There are so many great technicians of the instrument through the years that i have in many become immune to it.  I don't play the guitar so I can't rightly put anyone up or down, not dissimilar from my football knowledge.  If you play in the NFL, you are a great player, but what makes one better than the other I can't tell you.  Though I can say, when you blame your teammates (Philip Rivers), then I feel free to say you suck as a person.   I can assure you, just as Sid Vicious missed notes, he didn't mean to, he just was overmatched which is why Steve Jones played the bass on the album.

Creative genius is my tale of the tape, this leaves out Yngwie Malmsteen, Slash, and Joe Fratriani.  Fine technicians but they never furthered the instrument nor did they write music to further the mind and heart (at least in my mind), they could simply blister the fret board.

Anyway, I digress.  For me, the most impressive guitarist is the one who can do simple things and make it jump.  Like throwing a checkdown to the back for a big gain (you know, like Wentz who is 80% on that throw).  I would point you to Like a Hurricane off the Weld album.  Neil can hit the same note repeatedly for a minute, and yet each one sounds a little better than the one before it.  That is genius.  Not a great technician though.  On another note, if you listen to Rockin in the Free World, like really listen to it about babies in dumpsters, etc. I find it ironic our president wants to play this at his rallies.  Particularly since he is Canadian.

There is no game tonight, so pack a bowl and head Down by the River.

Not to worry. I am appreciative of the fact that when I make an error one of you players catch it. Don't expect  Hewlett Packard level organizational ability from the commish who was a "C" grade math student at best. I'm with you on dodging the double digit spreads. Too hard to cover.

I am representing my client Mr. Commsih in this case. Let the courtroom know that commish has faithfully posted the new week's lines early each Tuesday morning all season long. Due to Covid causing the rescheduling of numerous games in recent weeks, the commish's Vegas source has been a tad behind in getting ALL the game odds "on the board" in a timely fashion. This past week commish posted what was available from Vegas at 5 am EST on Tuesday the 13th of October. Due to the first ever Tuesday Night game in the NFL the Dolphins game line was late in being set in Vegas. My client commish does diligently post the lines that are available on Tuesday mornings and this week Vegas did not have the Dolphins game up.

Now my client did forget to put up the New England line as well. He has admitted to smokin' a j with his omelette Tuesday morning and perhaps that caused the other game to be forgotten (Patriots/Denver). He will own up to that "his bad."

I do feel the 8 hour sentence is too harsh and wish to have commish's sentence reduced to 90 minutes behind bars.

I have won picking the Dolphins more than once this season. This week I love them. -9? They will win by 14+. The Jets' players are not playing for their bum coach. How is Adam Gase still in the drivers seat? !! The magic man slathers on some Coppertone Sport pregame and lights up the scoreboard.

I wanted to select the Minnesota pick as it seems rather easy. I also see a few of you are liking that selection this week. How is the commish supposed to make up ground against the field by taking similar picks? I know little , but have figured that angle out at least. I have to chart a course in solo fashion even if it means I could be eating weenie beanies from a can in the basement for weeks on end. Ugh that would be misery. I am taking the over in the Bucs/Packers game. Heck Aaron 'GOD" Rogers might cover the over by himself. Lighting up the scoreboard is what they will be doing in one of the only two games in the 4 pm time slot this Sunday.

Well I have had an exceptionally fine week regarding work, personal life, and golf games. I haven't said that many times this Covid filled 2020. It is not about that. I find myself in a most jubilant state on this Friday. 

You decided not to share anything that might be incriminating evidence against the commish. I assure you that Babs is not in the photo. I thank you for your wise insight and holding back the image of me.

I think I can provide a photo that might capture a similar vibe to the one you might have posted above.

The photo is from back a few years.  I was in a band. This was back in my Vegas / Phoenix days. No not any real band mind you.

See the commish has always loved southern rock. Molly Hatchet and Skynyrd are the best! 

So on happening Karaoke Nights at nightclubs that had a bevy of ladies in attendance, I put a little something together. I grabbed a few drinking buddies and we were a Karaoke Signing Southern Rock Band. I took the microphone as lead singer. I do a mean Danny Joe Brown after Pacifico's and shots of Don Julio Silver.

Commish Dude you look like 'Free Bird' extended live performance. You musta had a few 'birds' hanging all over you that night. And as for Molly Hatchet yeah one of my fav bands also. Serious bummer about Mr. Ego himself DJB. He wanted to rename group Danny Jo Brown and, yeah and, Molly Hatchet. He was soon gone. And his new groups name.....wait for it.....wait.....Danny Jo Brown and the Danny Jo Brown Band. They had one hit and two albums and poof gone. Years later he came back to group and two original band members left because of him.  Sad all the way around could of been a great lasting force except for egocentric DJB.

I saw them down in Fredericksburg outdoor festival with the Outlaws and Blackfoot. I remember it turning into a drunk fest with girls taking their clothes off and being lifted up like a pizza. Good time but the actual concerts were more of a backdrop to the bedlam.
