Reporting back from Purcellville Va Not much magic as far as snow totals. But beautiful nonetheless. And much better for having to shovel. I think we got about 5-7 inches in local areas. I shoveled about 3.5-4" yesterday and will go back out today as we had light snow most of the day into the early evening hours which looks like it added 2 more inches. So a benign 5-6 inches total is my guess.

Monday mornings I run over the goodies that my sources provide me that transpired over the past weekend. I saw greenone was in India and told you gents about that. The weekend tidbit on Pete3P was he was seen in a Boise bar looking out of place the locals said. The regulars let him have one draft and then showed him the door. Something about being too loud. Funny P3P never opened his mouth. 😉

The doctor has chimed in above, and we now know he is breathing.  I remember asking him days ago on the thread how he was to fare with the snow storm heading from Asheville up the coast. I was rather concerned. 

Sources tell me it took him nearly 3 1/2 hours to clear off his driveway Sunday morning.

That leaves Q. What did Q do over the weekend I asked my story digging team? Well I have learned that due to the fact that the TOUR was at Torrey he grabbed a few friends and headed towards La Jolla. Even with no gallery allowed on the course, Q felt the vibe would be hot in the Gaslamp district downtown San Diego. Q had a fab party after hours back on his sailboat the " Dang it Babs" I am told. He had over 7 people crash on his boat back at the Coronado marina.

Personal best for this guy last weekend.  Managed to get out with my father in law for the first time since Thanksgiving.  Weather in ATL was decent last Saturday.  My pops always said time off is a good thing.  Couldn't agree more.  Set my personal best with 5 birdies, 2 on the front and 3 on the back.  It's hard to complain with 5 birds but man i played awful.  Back to back 41/41 for an 82.  I had quite a few unlucky breaks, few 3-putts, several bad shots leading to doubles, and even a triple.  Should've been mid 70's easy or even better.  Could've scared my best round ever of 73 many years ago.  Frustrating!!!

 

Just found out from work that I'll be headed to the Windy City super bowl Sunday.  Nothing says Super Bowl Sunday like a 10.5Hr drive.  I'll be there all week.  Any suggestions on what to do or where to eat??  TIA.

I will put some thought to what you might do or eat while in the Windy City. Any of you guys have a suggestion for our prognosticating brother ?

I say SUPER congrats Chuntsman on your 5 pack of birdies. I find myself in the same camp often as my birdies (not 5 heavens in a round, but 3 on occasion) are far too often erased by a double or two. I know the bad holes appear to ruin the red number holes, but that would'nt stop me from toasting 'em up in the celebration of snagging 5 damn tweeters.  Congrats again for going low on a pack of holes last weekend Chuntsman.

I did read Mr. Simmons apology and the link that was provided in his letter the to better understand the language used for those individuals situations. It was a deep story indeed NCL.  I especially like the video between Gary McCord and Elkington.
