A lot of the attention on Byron’s work is about the DH89, but my favorite unsung model is the 007.  Kind of a tweener among the 89 and the 6-series, but IMO a really awesome blade in its own right.  To that end, here are some 007s from my stash, plus one 711 front right.  All flow neck, of course, and mostly all carbon.

Any chance you can do a few close up shots of the 007 and 711? I really like that shape too, was never in LH but might get someone to recreate one for me or close to it.

Which 007?  There are five of them in there haha.  I’m on the road now but will see what I can do later…

I loved the look of the 007, especially with the Rincon neck - Byron never made a LH version though.

I'll jump on the 007 train as a fan.  He used it for the first Club Byron putter and it is one of my most prized pieces in my rack.  IMHO, it was the putter that pulled a little from several different classics and blended them incredibly well.  I'll see if I can snap a few pix of mine and share, as well.

Nope but the power of money and determination might have me try and get one recreated.

 

I'll say if I had the access and skill to a CNC I'd probably try and recreate a few of Byrons heads in LH but they wouldn't have the magic of his work.

Here’s the 711 from above.  I think @Jace_bkr also has a nice one that may actually be on this thread somewhere back in time.  

 

This one is stainless with Byron’s black PVD finish.  Love the original twilight zone milling and the small letter stamping.  Byron loved that and always wanted to use those small letters….

 

The hallmark of the x11 series putters was the thin top line due to the lack of a pocket behind the face.  Like the Rattler-C, eh Lamont?

@fharbist thanks Google doesn't show much when you search Byron Morgan 711. It's a nice shape obviously same with the 007 but I also think no cavity putters should be a bit more popular for various reasons.

That’s right.  Not a lot of 007s out there, and significantly fewer 711s.  I think the x11s (611, 711, DH11) were only around a couple years.  Around 2011, of course.  
 

Here’s an 007 that I had pics on my phone - similar shape, but with a pocket.  This one is another Byron “stamping” classic.  Took the DBCM theme from his 8802s /8811s and made a cool 007 with skulls and bones.  
 

If you need any more pics, let me know (more time tomorrow).  Tough for you southpaws; you have my sympathies.

Unbelievable flatstick! Last thing I need is a new putter but that 007 is gorgeous. I may need to look into having one replicated.

Rumor has it that the lack of a pocket was definitely made acceptable by this model.  Could just be hearsay............

Hey everybody. Just letting everyone know that we were able to secure the domain again, and are working to get the site back up in the next week or so.
