I have a question about lies angles with these putters. I have a 46 inch DF Broomstick with a 79.5 degree lie angle. I assumed that one would want to have as upright a putter as possible to putt broomstick style. However, I noticed that Lucas Glover's putter is 78 degrees. Which suggests that 79.5 isn't ideal for everyone. Should I have gone through the fitting for lie angle instead even though it is a broomstick?

I purchased my DF Broom from a friend. 46” and 79.5. I did an online fitting with it and they suggested I cut it down 2” and not adjust the lie. I sent it back and now really liking the length way better. You can do an online fitting with yours and they could see if you need a lie angle or length adjustment.

Back on the forums after an extended absence. My Mezz 1 Max broomstick should arrive in 5-6 weeks. Can't wait to try it! Will report back here.

Would love to compare a Mezz Max vs DF 2.1 Broom. Just not sure you can beat the DF stability. Lucas Glover is really rolling his Max great!

I’ve been able to own both and give them a good run for a few weeks each. Mezz max was my first broomstick ever. I immediately became a better putter. I never made more 10-20 footers in my life but I struggled on longer lags and inside 6 feet. My right hand got a little twitchy no matter what grip I tried. Longer putts I tended to hit at the ball which led to some speed control issues

I’ve moved into the DF and it’s by far more stable. I definitely had to use more of a pendulum stroke instead of a pop stroke I had with the Mezz max. It’s harder to manipulate the head so as I’ve gotten to trust it my lags and short putts have improved. Surprisingly lags have been really easy which was my main concern with the DF

if you can get over the looks and the comments I think the DF is a winner

Good stuff. Appreciate it. DF is my first broomstick and it is just amazing. The heavier head I have now is taking some getting used to. Hammering putts by right now. My lag putting is phenomenal. I got no business trying anything else anyway.

"I immediately became a better putter" - THIS is why i took the plunge. This concept just makes too much sense. 0 torque feels like the right amount. The wait is killing me!
