End of year drop treated me well. I was quite concerned when the box showed up. I'm 100% certain they didnt send it out the door this way. USPS decided to jump on it and kick it a few times. However, I'm SUPER happy with what I got. The HC looks really good, but the piece de resistance is this friggin bag. It's gorgeous. There is zero chance that I can keep this thing clean. So now I'm stuck. Do I put it in play, and know that it will be well loved, but dirty by the end of a season... or do I keep it in my office to hold my practice clubs? (Please excuse the carpet stains on our basement floor.)

That bag is awesome!  I have a tbc vessel backpack and love it, thinking vessel might be the way to go for a new stand bag

Before you jump on the Vessel train, you may want to peruse through this thread. Lots of people love em though. I've heard the backpacks are really nice.

Good looking out, thanks....Yeah my stitch didn't hold up well but I walk and wore a hole in the side from my belts....not a great material for a golf bag I suppose. No issues with my backpack and I use it regularly

I’m a novice TBC guy..what’s the deal with the ski release? Is this a more sought after cover in the year? Or just another “run of the mill” TBC release?

In my opinion it all depends on the design. This is the 3rd Ski Day release, so it’s a “TBC Holiday,” if you will. I have the 2021 cover, I’ve been looking for a while for the 2020 cover but haven’t found it. Not in love with this year’s design so I probably won’t bother with it.

There are popular covers that are hard to get and "rarely" get resold on ebay.  There are also specials of every release that have a different color scheme but the same design, those are rare as only a handful are made of that cover.

 

To my knowledge all the releases are done with a similiar run/supply.

Definitely slowed down it seems. And more headcover only drops. Should pick up a bit more once the majors start hopefully.

 

Also, hoping that potential collective gift is a wood headcover since they gave out driver and putter headcovers in the last two gifts.

Looks like a driver cover, but…. Kinda looks sick. I just want them to figure out the monstrosity mallet size for future offerings.

I believe the current offerings are way too big. Not even close and it’s a major bummer.

Nope.  That one was made by their previous supplier EP, who now does Swag covers.  Way better covers than the current ones.

The Black Amex is the old mallet size.

 

For anyone curious, the old mallet size was 5x4.5" (roughly). The new mallet size is ~6x5".

 

Smaller size mallet covers should be releasing in a few months (per DMs).

Great news. Otherwise, it kinda sucks being a member who plays a mallet. Like you can get blade covers you like just in case you ever switch, but a good chance they'll just spend time laying around doing nothing.

 

I just want to know what that initial thinking was when it came to changing the size. Did they see the size ahead of time and think "yep, I could def fit a CD case in here with some extra room, perfect"

I agree. I was that member. Joined a few months before the Chunky Dunk mallet release, which is perfect, only to grab a Last Dance mallet, which absolutely swallows my putter and has never even left my office.

They told me that they had requests for a larger size. Apparently some people needed bigger mallet covers. Have we had anyone in this thread yet that said they appreciated the new size? If so, no shade, please let us know what putter you game.

 

I guess I'm that shmoe who is buying blade covers even though they dont play a blade. I dont know why. That Tiffany Bow design was awesome. I couldnt bear to let it pass, but I also would NOT put that monstrosity on my putter in the oversized mallet they have now. I did pick up the Star Wars set though. I'm hoping (for some stupid reason) that they won't look as bad. That being said, maybe they will end up on the BST if they look dumb.

Likely the white driver headcover with dancing TBC logos posted several posts above. Zac posted it to his IG a while back.

 

Gift for 2021 was black blade putter headcover with grey collective logo, black towel, and black tees.

Verified that the welcome kit is the white Fairway headcover above, ball marker, divot tool, and bag tag.
