Has anyone tried the KBS One Step that could compare it to the UST Frequency Filter?

I would say the One Step is closer to a normal shaft. The UST Frequency Filter felt dead to me in that I couldn't really feel the putter head. Made it very stiff but also muted the clubhead - I think because it was so heavy. I didn't give it much of a chance becuase I disliked the feel so much.

The One Step is much better, I like the overall feel and weight of it. It's not as stiff as the LAGP or BGT, but stiffer than a typical shaft. It's also a little heavier than a typical shaft. Whereas I'd say the Frequency Filter actually felt the most stiff out of any.

No. CT tour is what they use

Does anyone know what is going on with this shaft? Most places are sold out and it was removed from the KBS site in the last week or so.

Ya, I wanted to pick one up myself, but it appears their putter shafts are out everywhere, even the basic black ones etc.

KBS seems to be still having issues with the supply chain, that could be the main reason cause even their iron shaft options are halved at the moment.

I was able to purchase one from kbsgolfshafts directly by emailing them back in November. Hopefully that still works as I need 1 more.

Has anyone compared these shafts to Nippon? The latter has been my go to shaft for past 5 years since feels softer than all these current super stiff, no feel putter shafts.

I have a one step and a Nippon. Haven't rolled the putter with the Nippon in a while may have to do some carpet rolling to compare again.

But off the top of my head the One Step is stiffer, the Nippon is still pretty stiff but also dampens the sound a lot more.

Thanks, this is helpful. I’ve always liked the feel of Nippon’s putter shaft since first trying in 2007. The feel is dampened and not as stiff as my recent KBS CT Tour shaft. I was hoping the One Step had more flex than both CT Tour and Nippon.
