Former LD guy trying to find his place out in real golf. 

 

I’m pretty lost after a major accident. I can still hit 107 CHS on Trackman 4 with a PTx Pro 4i. So I still have a little wiggle in my jiggle even at 42. 

 

So what have you done to get past the “ugh, I’m now old” blues?

At 42? A 911 and a 25 y/o "social media manager" from a Hollywood ad firm. 

 

Fun year. Expensive.

As a former LD guy, all you need to do is start playing at your local muni. If you can put a few in the fairway, you'll be a legend.

At 42 I became father of twins. Yeah, I know. Keeps me young, right, right? (love em dearly!) Probably not the best suggestion for "I'm old now" what's next? .

Probably a sportscar and work on your short game would be better.😃

Unfortunately, just continued to get older.....at what seems like an exponential rate😢

Well that’s great news, 😂 

 

As long as I can stay competitive with my kid, I’ll be fine. Unfortunately he gains about 30-40 yards a year and I lose some. 

 

I’ve beat him 3/5 last rounds, posting my best 5 rounds in 2 years. It had been a bit prior to that that I’d beat him. He probably had me the last 10 rounds prior.

I  will turn 65 in September!  thats what I did about feeling old at 42!

Just think of it this way.  You're probably the longest off the tee in your group.  I know I am and I play with guys in their 20 and 30's all the time and I just hit 40 last year.
