Unpopular Equipment Opinions

Copper finished irons look different, but they feel the same. It’s just a coating. 
 

Billet copper is a whole other thing, but I know of no one making copper irons.

I don't like tungsten in the toe of my irons, feels off balance.....sometimes I actually prefer a really thin topline and a thin sole...some brand shafts I just never got along with, True Temper/Project X and Aldila mostly have been struggles......S300's being the default iron shaft is a travesty......collars are a dumb thing to make a shirt be considered 'appropriate golf attire'  .....I don't really enjoy most 'resort courses' ....give me a 'fun' course over a 'perfectly manicured'  course any day

also Miura Baby Blades are ridiculously overrated......flat is better than upright.....

Forgiveness is overrated. Regardless of what type of club you play, you still have to put a good swing on the ball.

It's not equipment but that guy that gets paid to freestyle on the tee box at golf events is the absolute worst thing I've ever heard and should be banned from every course within 24,900 miles of me at all times.

Here's one… why graphite putter shafts? Are we not missing an opportunity to go back to a wooden shaft in putters? How cool would that be?

Graphite shafts in woods and drivers are inferior to the steel shafts that could be made if they made them anymore.  The triumph of marketing and outright rapacity over reality.
