I was going to wait for the Eye Mini to hit before I looked at upgrading this year but this has me thinking. Still not that enthusiastic about Foresight's draconian attitude towards third party development but I can put up with a fair bit if the price is right.

I am in the exact same boat. Was waiting for the eye mini and now this sale is happening and I don’t know what to do. I emailed Uneekor today and they now say they aren’t planning on releasing price for another month. I feel like that information keeps getting delayed. Plus this is their first ground unit so there may be some bugs. What are you going to do? I’m on the fence as I want to use GS Pro without issues. Also what are the odds Uneekor moves to a subscription with the new software they are rolling out?

The nice thing is that the existing units aren't bound to just Uneekor software so you can always use something different. I can't imagine they'll switch to a mandatory sub model with the Mini but stranger things have happened.

 

I'll probably just wait. If Mini turns out to be a dud and Foresight doesn't have the same sale next year, I'll get the Eye. It's what the endgame is anyway and Mevo+ is working well for me at the moment.

 

Edit: I may also just get a used X3 if one comes available for a decent price.

Out of curiosity, if you want accurate spin and carry distances indoors with driver, what does X3 gain you over M+?

 I’ve been learning towards the GC3 over the BLP just because I know I’ll have it while so I don’t wanna pay the subscription. It was hard enough to convince my wife on this one so I’d imagine I’ll have it for a long time. The sale just pushed it over the edge for me

I want more data and the price is similar between a used X3 and buying EXO + keeping M+ for the range. Still likely to choose the latter, just saying I wouldn't say no to the other option if it presented itself.

I did check that. My machine has the correct numbers in the settings.

 

After a few days I’m fairly certain something in my hitting environment was causing my yardages to read so small. With all of the tinkering that I was doing to find the problem such as changing lighting and mats, I evidently corrected the problem unknowingly. My machine has been perfect since then.

lol…I told my wife I was debating between the two and she thought I went for the cheaper BLP and subscription.  Whoops.  Sorry dear 😂 

 

fantastic deal for this.  Once you get a nice setup it’s so much better for your game than a driving range as you actually get accurate numbers.  I go to the range now and just work on start direction because all the other variables are just so inaccurate unless you have a range with premium balls.

Agreed on the benefits vs just going to the range. I’d like to think that I’m much more knowledgeable about my swing than I was a week ago without the GC3.

I got it at 7k and while $1k hurts, I enjoyed it for 7 months so it's not bad.

Try spending almost 9k (20 courses). Well mine is the GC3 version, but yeah. I should have went with the Bushnell

Eh, it's still a great device at 7k, even better at 6k.

Plus the stats alone are insanely valuable. I think if you have mechanical thought process, you pretty much have a full time coach on standby.

Well, I was mostly referring to bring able to choose between BLP or GC3. Most of us outside the US are only offered the Foresight product. 

 

I'd still go with GC3 though because subscriptions are a waste and blue is better than orange.

As far as I know you can only manually adjust it in FSX 2020 or FSX Play.  Is there a big discrepancy between what it’s measuring vs what your elevation is?
