The fact that it's a little lighter and definitely the fact that it's more forgiving with the hollow cavity/gelback design.

 

2. How can the CBX ZipCore wedge help your short game?

This could be really useful on all sorts of longer pitch/full shots approaching the green.  I use a 54* for virtually all shots inside of 100 yards, plus I use them in the bunkers, so the versatility of a high bounce wedge that can also be accurate from outside of 70 yards could be huge for my game.

2. How can the CBX ZipCore wedge help your shortgame? He often gets punished when transitioning from his z585 pitching wedge to his traditional gap wedge. I think a gap with more forgiveness would really help his game. He also loves to use a gap wedge around the greens on our very firm course so a set gap wedge might not work the best.
