Mrs. NCL and I walked 18 Monday afternoon at our local course, Occoneechee.

Weather was gorgeous for mid-June with a cloudy sky, low dew point, no humidity and a 74-degree temp.  Could not be better weather-wise.  Parking lot was almost full and the course was jammed which meant for a long day (4:05). 

Played a mix of tees, about 5800 yards and shot a 46-50=96.  36 putts, 10-14 fwys. After waiting on almost every shot I admit I lost a bit of concentration and patience on holes 12, 13, 14 and 15.  All par 4's and I played them in 8, 5, 7, and 6.  Missed all 4 fwys, but at least all were playable.  10 putts on those 4 holes really helped my mood.  16 is an uphill par 3 and I took a little "me-time" and had a few bites of my Clif Bar while the threesome of 20-somethings in front of us played the hole.  Finished +3 on the final 3 holes so I came off the course looking forward to the next time!   I'll conquer this crazy game yet!!!

It is apparent to me that you jumped off of the Dos Chileans train prematurely. You speak fluent Spanish P48 so maybe call one of them up and explain your situation and they will welcome you back to their team.   😛

I got lucky and replaced Sungjae (thought I would make him a ceremonial pick of mine this week to honor doc's trip to the Far East during this week's Travelers Tournament in Connecticut ⚡) when he WD'd late Wednesday. I went to the bench and my 4th pick for the week was the player that calls home just down the mountains from me. I grabbed the Quail Hollow kid from Charlotte as my late addition pick. 

 

I can't match the high mark set you today Mr. Parker but...................Today on moving day Saturday my remaining two horses EACH fired a 4 under 66 and climbed up some significant spots on the board.  

Brian Harman, I knew you'd finish high this week, you just had a slow start for me, and Webb please produce tomorrow because two of your Old North State's fellow residents picked your blonde bearded butt this week.  Mr. Demon Deacon how about tomorrow NCL and I snag some Top 5 points with ya?🏌️‍♂️
