Hopefully it’s better than the Gen4.  Gen4 was good but def not as long as the Rogue, Stealth or LTDx.

The TD isn't part of the Gen 5 release. Only Gen 5 drivers as of now are 0311 and 0311 XF. Maybe the TD got re-named? Or maybe it's coming later?

I just wish they would release this driver along with the other new stuff.  Drives us club ho’s crazy with these staggered release dates.

True dat! It can frustrating "Ho-ing" at times. My concern is the the TD has a forward weight to reduce spin, like the current Gen4 X, the Gen5 drivers don't appear to have the forward weights. Heading back to my local fitter next Thursday, will give them a go.

I had a big drop in ball speed and distance heelside on my XT. Otherwise, I loved it.

the 0211 punches way above its weight for the price, so I'm hoping that gets carried to the Gen 5 line. I know it'll be higher priced than the 0211, but even if it's $25-50 cheaper than a Stealth or a Rogue for 99% of the same performance, that will be compelling.

It seems on the Proto and then the Gen4 they have been making progress.  The Gen4 is a def fairway finder and very forgiving.  Just lacking in a bit of distance.  I’d put the Gen4 in the mid of the pack in distance.  If they can get that extra bit of distance I think they could really sell a lot with the pricing lower than the other higher end OEM’s currently.

Here’s my opinion-if you match up all the major OEM drivers to get a similar spin rate, all drivers are within 2 or 3 yards. There’s no driver that’s appreciably longer or shorter.

For the PXG loyalist's, which PXG driver was, flat out, the longest? 

I had the original XF.  Went dead straight but not very long.  PXG peaks my interest with each new release.

from the data I've seen, it looks like Gen 5 0311 non-XF will be the longest by a fair margin, but we can't be sure till it gets out more

They reference Gen4 X as the longest of the currently available drivers. For me, it works great and lives up to their word. However, I'd suggest getting fit by one of their local fitters to make sure you get the right shaft/head combination for your swing if you decided to go with Gen4 or Gen5.

I am really interested to try this driver. Previous pictures that were posted showed a super deep faced, similar to the Cleveland classic from 2012. I would love a super deep face driver. even if it’s a really low spin driver, you could get the 10.5° version and loft up to around 12° and hit high low spin bombs all day. pair it with a really stiff shaft and I think it would be an awesome set up.
