Need an oversize wedge! Help!

do like my Ram 'ez out' 56, sadly seemed to have stopped making them. Need a 52 as similar as possible, at least in clubhead size.. no expert on bounce but it seems fine for me on the 56 so similar would be great but not a deal breaker.. Been looking in shops and online and can't find anything oversized at all? Can anyone help? cheers!

Check out the Callaway Sure Out/Sure Out 2 wedges if you can find them. Cleveland also has a Smart Sole 4 wedge that has that oversized look.

Search the JDM stores (eg GolfPartner or GolfPartnerUSA)

 

I've seen a 60* "PowerBilt" MS-60 (https://www.yatogolf.shop/shopdetail/000000000403/) that might interest you... you might have Google it / investigate whether they also do lower lofts eg a 52*?

 

Alternatively (and 1 that i'd highly recommend) = the PRGR "R55"

https://www.prgr-golf.com/en/product/wedge/Wedge-r55.html (some might say it's a shovel & no different from the Cleveland SmartSoles .... but i also have the latter (along with the TM HiToe, the Callaway SureOut etc)... but those typically sit in the spare bag at home, whilst the PRGR R55 follows me to the golf course.

If you google it, you'll find that Mizuno also had a wedge marketed as "Donkey Shovel"(!!) 🙂

Check out the Maltby wedges on Golfworks.com. They have a variety of what I would consider oversized wedges, ie: Max Milled, FGT Forged, PTM Chrome Forged. Can be assembled for a reasonable price and just might be what you are looking for. Good luck

Callaway Mac Daddy wedges are great if you are looking for oversize and forgiveness. They match up well for cavity back iron sets.

I know that these wedges are discontinued but the TM Bigfoot wedges and the Oversized Cobra Trusty Rusty ones made a few years ago were pretty big to me.

A shout out on the Smart Sole, but closest is 58º.

Tour Edge has 2 different 1 out wedges. One is 54 degrees and the other is 58 degrees.

Cleveland smart sole G is 50 degrees. Extremely easy to play. Absolutely no versatility but, just line up and hit. They spin a tonne. 

 

The Cleveland CBX line is the next step up, still very easy to play with a bit more versatility, the sole is nowhere near as big as the smart sole if that's what you need. 52 and all other lofts available in the CBX line.

a 70* advertised loft on that Hummingbird Lob wedge = Likely we will hit a shot that subsequently hits us in our face/forehead!
