Mizuno wait time?

Could anyone tell me where Mizuno ships their iron sets from and what type of shipping service they use? I’m supposed to be getting my set soon and can’t wait!

 Has anyone tried to visit Mizuno in georgia? I am going to be in the general area next week and sent them a email asking about a tour or just a look around.

 

I doubt it will happen, but can't hurt to ask.

They're headquartered in Braselton, GA and their preferred shipper is FedEx.

I was told by my pro last week that Mizuno’s been delivering orders in under the 4-5 week timeline, so I wonder if we are just seeing the outliers on here?  A guy can hope…

I am over five weeks in and no update.

   Ordered my 923 HM on Saturday April 22, only change is 2 degrees flat lie. Called the dealer 3 times which told me they would call me back in a few minutes after they called Mizuno. All 3 times never heard a call back, pulling up on the 6 week mark. It’s outrageous when Ping is shipping custom irons in 2-3 weeks and Mizuno is at almost 6. DO NOT BUY CUSTOM MIZUNO IRONS, BUY THEM AS A PREMADE SET TO AVOID THIS HORRIBLE LEAD TIME.

Not surprisingly no tours of the plant. Probably don't want any eyes on the two poor souls (or one haha) in there working their butts off on a never ending stream of orders.

I was pretty surprised on a tour of the Ben Hogan factory to see what appeared to be mom's and grandmother's building clubs.

It is not as high tech, high end as we are lead to believe. Not to say they were not good at their jobs, just I had a vision of dedicated old pros building the clubs for the masses..

Any updates from people who ordered on 4/17?

Ordered 225's 6-GW standard just cut 1/2 inch.

I was told on May 17th they were working on orders from April 11th so I figure three days later they would be working on my order from the 14th of April. Then I got a notice they would be ready on the 30th of May and nothing. I called yesterday and they said they would be completed at the end of this week and shipping out next week. I'll believe it when I see it.

Depends when you order I guess. I got my HMP irons in 10 days, ordered in February. My S23 are approaching end of week 4, was told 4-5 when I ordered them.

My buddy ordered some HMP's on 4/13, nothing crazy with regards to shafts and specs.  Just received them yesterday.  He was told 5 weeks.

I gave up the ghost and cancelled my order for a 230 X driver with a custom shaft after 7 weeks. Not a complicated order, just a no-upcharge custom shaft, but it being custom at all doomed it to the lead time. Not mad at Mizuno, I am sure they’re trying to get it all sorted out. I would have waited but I wanted time to play this driver with the intent of potentially taking it on two trips in July. Perhaps I’ll play the 230 down the line, I do think it’s a top-notch design. 
 

Likely sticking with my Rogue ST LS but I wanted something one notch more forgiving as either a backup or in play, depending on me. Found a few clubs to trade and take advantage of Callaway’s 50 percent trade bump to order a standard Paradym 10.5, also with a custom shaft. Second Swing was great to deal with in making the change and the Paradym will be in next week. A lot of elite drivers to choose from and the Paradym looks similar to the Rogue ST so not too worried about it. It tested very well.

here is a reference on why other brands may not be taking as long as mizuno. also add in the server disruption in april.

Gotta do what you gotta do.  While my April order of 923 HM irons is languishing, I grabbed some clubs from my basement and with the 50% trade-in bonus at Callaway, totally covered a custom set of Paradym X irons, Recoil Dart 105 shafts, etc.  Ordered last week, received yesterday.  That's how you do it.

My single iron order placed 4/24 was supposed to ship yesterday and I just got an update that now it‘s going to ship midweek next week.

 

I wish I didn’t like their clubs so much because this is just not acceptable.  Good thing is I only get new irons every 4-5 years so here’s to hoping they figure this out by 2027

Mizuno is currently building orders from April 21st according to the retailer I placed an order with yesterday.

 

For those complaining about the wait, try ordering a 4 iron or PW from TaylorMade with Project X LZ shafts. Your head will explode when you see how long the wait has been and continues to be.

Well… in an unstunning turn of events, my pro just told me that I should expect 5-6 weeks now instead of 4-5 (so 1-2 more weeks) and he’s still optimistic it may be sooner.  I’m not holding my breath.

Those Paradyms are a very solid choice to fill the void.

placed my order on 4/21. They told me the order didn't get in the system till 4/22. I was told earlier this week it would be another week.

Received Confirmation my order has been shipped that was placed on 4/17.

Ordered Pro 225's 6-GW Nippon 120 Tour S shafts cut down 1/2 inch.
