Yet you’re moving on, back to Ping and claiming they have terrible customer service when you got your clubs in 4 weeks. Not worthy!

Ordered a set of 530s yesterday, too. And yes, nobody has customer service like Ping. Best in the business. Not worthy🤦🏻‍♂️🙄😆

Ordered pro 245s with x100s on March 10th. Still no tracking number...

Ordered 245’s on March 14th and still no tracking info. Finally got an update this morning. They said they’re waiting for the 6i head to come in. Should be in on Monday the 15th and my order should ship by the 19th. 5 weeks is pretty bad. Don’t say it’s 2-3 weeks when every couple orders are 4-6.

Ordered a custom 923 Hot Metal 4 iron on March 18th through Carl's Golfland.  Called on 4/3 and they said it should ship middle of next week.

Update: shipping confirmation on April 10th with UPS delivery scheduled on April 12th. Just 3 days short of 4 weeks from order to delivery.

Ordered March 22 though my preferred shop, was 2-3 weeks. Yesterday was 3 weeks, followed up with my shop. They called mizuno, said ‘a good 3 weeks’ so the end of this coming week. A good 3 = 4 then? I don’t love it, but it’s fine. I’ve been able to play all of one time since placing the order in the northeast and this weekend is a pit of mud and I’ll be on the couch anyways. Hoping to have them for the coming weekend.

It’s not even the new stuff, it’s everything. It’ll be 6 weeks by the time I get my 245’s. DG shafts, Winn grips, standard LLL.

It's the quotes that irritate me the most. It's always "2-3 weeks", and that's almost never the case. Just be straight in the beginning and don't over sell your lead times. Tell customers 4-6 weeks. Then if they show up in 3, it's a pleasant bonus.

Heard the same exact thing. Initial timeline was 2-3 weeks. When I asked on the status, they changed it to 4-6.

Great sticks, but Mizuno cluster f**** every new product launch……it’s a shame.

Not only that but in my experience their quality control is horrible. I've had problems all three times I've ordered from them (never again).

I'm currently having some Mizuno wedges re-shafted and the club builder I use told me "There was an abundance of epoxy in those 2 Mizuno wedges, lucky those shafts did not snap. I have never seen so much epoxy except an amateur building a club."

Take that for what it's worth.

You do realize the 245’s are the “new stuff” still?

as far as time frames I’ve ordered quite a bit of Mizuno since October and everytime I got a timeframe it’s been delivered in those windows. Sometimes it was 1-2 weeks, 2-3 weeks, current order was told 3 weeks…as of today is 3 weeks from when I ordered and when I called early in the week they said it should ship either yesterday or Monday of next week. So hoping it’s Monday now. Luckily I can get online and see when a Tracking number has been uploaded on their site.

Wrong lofts, lies and swingweights are common from them. Everything I've gotten from them, I have checked when they arrive. It's hit or miss if they're right. Lofts have been very inconsistent. Plenty in these threads have talked about wrong grips or even shafts.

I got a set of 225s from the last year. You wait 4-6 weeks for clubs that were built by what seems to be a fast food employee. Then L/L/L and grip were wrong. Of note I contacted my dealer who contacted their mizuno rep. They shipped me a new set that was on my door in 4 days. That part was wild but I have 0 confidence in Mizuno building clubs accurately. It's rather sad how they have beclowned their brand through trash club building and the worst wait times in the industry.

Regarding the posts about "wrong lie angles" do the authors have loft and lie machines at their residence?

*I guarantee you that just about any club repair shop owner or employee will tell a customer that the lofts and lies of the iron set he brought in to be checked are "way off".

I had mine checked at a local shop (who are the go-to in my area for custom builds) and they were genuinely impressed (and a bit surprised) how accurate my build was. The only club that was off was my 7 iron that came in at D1.9 instead of D2.

Getting back into the game after a long absence, refreshing most of my bag with more modern clubs since it's been 10-12 years since I bought my current set. I worked my way down to a 12.1 hdcp about 8 years ago and was striking the ball really well, but have only played a couple times per year since then. So the swing is in there somewhere, but there's a lot of ugly mixed in too.

I hit pretty much everything under the sun over the past few weeks, and narrowed it down to the Mizuno 225/245 and JPX 923 HMP's. In the end, I need the extra forgiveness because I'm not going to get the consistent practice time that I used to. HMP's are the one club I hit well every single time I demoed. Had my eyes on a preowned set, and of course they were sold when I went back to pull the trigger today.

So, I sent in an order to Discount Dan's tonight: JPX 923 Hot Metal Pros, 5-PW with Modus 105's. Specified 1 degree upright and 1 degree weak. They quoted 2-3 weeks but based on this thread, I'm expecting more like 4.

Fingers crossed for a decent lead time and an accurate build!

Ordered on Feb 26. They were about to be shipped and apparently didn’t pass QC due to swingweight issues.  I’ll probably have to wait another 6 weeks. If TaylorMade releases those RAC Proto’s I might just cancel my order.

It's not like Mizuno has a huge tour staff to account for, most of their club business is for the general public.  I have no idea what has been going on around there at Mizuno, but back when I ordered my 5-gw 923 forged the lofts and lies were not great.  I ordered a single 4 iron (Modus 105 stiff) later through GG, when it finally came in after 3 1/2 weeks for a single iron, the swing weight was C7....lol.  Even the clowns at GG were laughing about it.  Had to send it back of course, and it took longer to get that 4 iron the second time around (RMA) than the original order.  Quality Control and Customer Service needs a total overhaul.  Pretty sad state of affairs for this stuff go be going on when a set of irons is a large mortgage payment these days....WTF??!!
