What type of putter are you using?

I'm going round and round finding a putter to use this year. I think I may have decided on a Scotty Cameron Laguna 2.5, 35". Have about 7 putters right now that I have bought trying to find just the right one.

What is your gamer this year?

I have the Bettinardi Big Ben center shaft, and the Thomas AT-60 putters. I chose the Big Ben because of the heavier weight and the prominent perpendicular lines that help align the putt. The Thomas, also a heavy putter, is my older putter and is one I still like, although I haven't used it for a couple years. I modified this putter by adding a groove along the top forward edge and painting the groove black to improve the alignment similar to the Big Ben. I installed a large grip on each, the Tiger Shark on the Big Ben and the Golf Pride Crown Jumbo grip on the Thomas. Last year I used the Big Ben exclusively. This year I think I'll be trying the Thomas. again.

I also have a bag full of putter, but going back to Bullseye flanged by Acushnet Titleist.

For the first few rounds anyway. Hack, if that does not work, will go to another style.

Just picked up a Rife Island Series Martinique from the PGA show! 35 inches and 345 grams. I love our putters, but this Rife rolls like no other. Man o Man.....I want to get it Black though with custom paint. Can some one PM me or forward me where I would get this done? Thanks

My current gamer is my SC Oil Can Newport II, but I also game a Futura Phantom and a Studio Design 1.

My current gamer is a Seemore m5 mallet 33.5". I have recently adopted the Pat O'brien putting stroke. This allows me to putt standing more upright and feels like it puts less stress on my back. I seem to be putting very well with far greater consistency. I also have a Sizemore XM-2 mallet but even though this feels very good it cannot yet push the Seemore out of my bag.

not the most popular out there and does not have the sex appeal of some....but I really like this NC Z1-Alpha putter I picked up a couple years ago.... I am a high handicapper but routinely 2 putt 15 out of 18 holes......usually one or two birdies...and one or two three puts.....for avg of 35-38 putts per round.

 

That might not be good for some of you guys but for me being a high handicapper still scoring over 100 each round I like it. :)

I really like the Big Ben putter, but I play with the Nickent Pipe usually. I tried to hate the damn thing because it is so ugly, but after putting with it along with others...I could not put it down...distance control was amazing!

We all have a few..LOL, but I still find the old Ping's to be best. I alternate between a 'Pal", and a 'Zing'. I've tried a custom and others that my friends have purchased. I just like the way ' old bronze' rolls the ball.

Older Odyssey DF 990. I recently lost this putter when I left out of my bag after putting on the putting clock (somebody grabbed it and never returned it). Found one that still had the protection stickers on the face in like new condition on ebay. Good thing as I was just starting to putt well with the 990 after having it in the bag for 10 years.

Odyssey White Hot #4. Love the soft feel of the insert. Every time I have considered going to get a new putter, I have an awesome round or practice session putting with this thing. I may never give it up!

Couldn't agree more. Bronze Ping Scottsdale Anser for me, 35". I have 2, one with a site line and my gamer without a site line.

 

Also, switch off to a SS Anser 4 or G2 Anser on occasion but you can't beat the feel of Mang Bronze with sound slot.
