Artisan upcoming irons

Knock, knock.

 

Was awesome to see everyone today.  What a great bunch of folks.  

 

I have some homework to do when I get back to snowy Calgary after consulting with Jamie.  Once that task is complete, I'll be getting them to build me a 4-P set in the HC. 

 

I loved, loved, loved the look of the MBs. And when I put a good swing on, the feel was incredible. For me, the HCs just work better. 

 

As always, got to look around and see some of the new products in various stages of development. 

 

Another amazing experience. I can't thank Artisan enough.

Some new designs to an existing product line.  😉  I'll be ordering one in the Spring. 

 

The feel/sound is soft yet solid.  It's hard to describe. I've hit Miuras, Callaway Apex MBs, and the Mizuno MBs (with copper underlay) and I think these are better.  My opinion, of course

I agree. Told a friend they had the solid feel of a Miura but the softness of a Mizuno with the copper underlay.

Whew, wasn't sure if I could properly describe how the felt.  Glad someone else experienced a similar feel.

 

I cannot confirm nor deny, but some information should be out before Christmas.

I really need to stop reading this thread, the MB sound more and more appealing.

 

Funny with my putter, I really can't see me changing it unless it gets damaged, I have had no inclination to look at another one!

 

My Stealth Plus driver though is in massive danger, why did my G410 LST crack, it was never in danger.

 

Still thinking my blueprints are not but every time I read this thread my mind changes for a little while!

 

Shipping to Scotland will be a pain in the a**, having said that looks like I might be in Houston a couple times next year and have friends coming this way all the time.

Just curious does anybody out have a accurate idea as to how many sets are fit each week and what number they are on customer wise sorry if this been asked already. A good buddy of mine is like 330 and is wondering when he might get a call or email he wants to order a set but not sure if the price will break him so he debating think he is starting to save $$$$. Also does anybody how long delivery is once a order has been placed ?? few weeks months? and is anybody stamping there intials on the heads or as that kinda tacky and a no no.

We didn't talk time frame.  Of course it just snowed 18" in Calgary, so I'm not looking for a quick turnaround.

 

I was asked if I wanted my initials stamped on the heads  I declined.  Nothing wrong with anyone who does, but I wanted as little showing on the head as possible.  As always I support Artisan by having them use their colors on the logo, again, just me

I was about a two week turnaround. Price is relative. They are a premium product so he should expect to pay a premium. It’s his $$$ so if he wants initials, get them. Who cares what anyone else says or thinks.

Is there a difference between customer number and invoice number? I have my original invoice from the wedges about 18 months ago.

 

They did stamp my initials into the wedges which I wasn't thrilled about. If I go for an iron fitting I'll get the wedges re-blasted and see if they can have them taken out. I know some of the putter guys can fill initials and sightlines with weld.

Yes, there's a difference.  My invoice number was not the same as my Player#.

 

You should have a spec sheet for your wedges.  If you have that, your player number should be listed on it

I have only ever dealt with Artisan direct.

 

I think I will always do that; something so simple about texting Jamie or John, a quick text chat and everything is done. To me that's one of things that makes Artisan so special.

They will to people in Europe but quantities are very limited for obvious reasons.  Robert -  who is the builder there and was previously the Euro distributor for Miura - is one of the best I’ve encountered. Himself and John H go way back. rocgolf.co.uk

Tell your buddy to save up for them. They will cost about the same as a Miura set but not the same customization. Or if he has wedges, they are a great indicator of price per iron.

can anybody out there who has a set of Artisan LSCB or full cavity back irons compare them to a retail set of irons in face size??? They look like the face size of the Artisan irons are the same size as the T200 Titleist irons just curious and how the top line looks? buffed down to hide the thickness of it?

So do we know what number they are on?  I have Jamie’s number but I don’t like to bother him except when I order fresh wedges; he’s a great guy.  
 

I’m player no. 500. Strangely someone earlier in this thread said they were 500 (I assume estimating). Not trying to start any nonsense but I have a club with a hosel stamped “MB.500….”

 

Any intel in what number they are on would appreciated.  The wedges are no joke; it’ll be an honor to get “the call” whenever it does come and I’ll gladly pay whatever they charge with gratitude.

Well…you are dead right, there.  I coulda sworn I tried to see and zoom in on Cota’s serial stamp and you’re right-there it is in plain sight.  My fault but thanks.

Got to hit the CBs and HCs on Friday through Artisan’s European distributor. Set of HCs incoming in the next two weeks. They are a special set of irons and I’ve hit enough of them over the years.
