I checked the status of my Super Hybrid yesterday and it still said 1-2 weeks backordered.

Just got a shipping notification it will be here tomorrow.

The "backordered 1-2 weeks" is a standard timeline all orders get from what I've seen. And as you just saw they end up shipping rather quickly.

Ordered a custom JAWS wedge on 9/5, they said at that time 1-2 weeks (for custom); its now 10/2 and they still can't tell me when it will ship.  I understand custom takes longer but its a disservice to us customers to tell us 1-2 weeks when they know its longer.

Callaway now advises no shipment until at earliest 10/12, six weeks after order.  Is that Callaway's business model, hold my $$ for six weeks?

Its called a backorder. Every single company ever has done it. 

 

Yes, I'm sure Callaway the multi-million dollar corporation is out to take Joe Schmo's $400 as a business loan for a month. Devious!

Just received my Apex cb's, with mmt shafts, 1/4 inch long, 1 degree flat, Lamkin sonar tour grips in 10 days since order. Opened the box, no 7 iron. Back ordered 2 weeks.

Yeah but when they say 1-2 weeks at order time that's not right.  Just say backorder without any time estimate.  $400 for a month x 10,000?  If you watch Wall Street, that's real money.

BTW,  in full transparency Callaway did offer to send me two dozen free.  I'd rather have my wedge but that's not bad.

guys I have a questions custom ordered the new pro/CB's wRecoil shafts  last week and today I get an email they built and shipped out the 6 iron alone, is this normal practice ?  doesn't sound right to me , what about spec'ing the set together ? swing weighting,,quality care ? I don't let me know what you think,,,thanks T

Callaway has always done this to my knowledge. Not sure it’s an issue other than you getting some irons and not others at once.

Just ordered one of their brand new Paradym Star 7 fairway wood.  It is not JDM.  Something new, and ultra lightweight  .I tested it 2 days ago at my local club at a Callaway demo event.This thing was a rocket launcher!   It is saying the standard 1-2 weeks right now.

I just received a customed Big Bertha 3 wood and that took about 2 weeks. Its a custom order, i dont expect them to just jump right on it.

My apex combo set delivery has been pushed back a couple times now scheduled to ship Oct 23, about 4 weeks behind original ship date

I ordered a Paradyn TD head few weeks ago. It was projected 2-3 weeks out at the time or order. After a week, they bumped the delivery time out another week. It shipped today just under 3 weeks from date of order. Seems okay to me.

FWIW, Callaway didn't charge my credit card until the day of shipment. That was how I first found out the club had shipped 🙂

I ordered a Paradym 9 wood through my club, and the rep quoted FEBRUARY for delivery.

I also ordered an Odyssey ai-one 7s on nov 3. They said 1-2 weeks lead time and it shipped today.

A bit all over the map.  Back in December ordered a set of Apex Pro 24 (4-A) and Jaws Wedges with MMT shafts and those shipped out in a week.  Have a warranty claim in for a Paradym TD for my son and it will be almost 4 months (I probably could have asked for the AI Smok, but he is in season for college and didn't want to make a change).

 ordered apex pro 4-p with 120 x100 last Friday and haven’t heard anything on a guesstimate for wait time but when I ordered under the iron selection it said 4-pw ships in 5-7 days so who knows.

Yeah just got a couple wedges took about a week for them to ship it then another 5 day from west coast to east coast

Give them a call on the 800 number.  They can check if each of the components are available and give you a better read.  We are in TN, so shipping normally only takes one day to get to my door.

Ordered a AI Smoke Max driver on 2/21. Shipping date originally stated between 3/18 ~ 3/25. Just checked today, and shipping date was moved up to 3/5 ~ 3/11.
