Taylormade Stealth UDI

I recently saw a Taylormade Stealth UDI at a local golf shop. Not on Taylormade site yet.  Looks very similar with some slight alterations to the SIM UDI. Anyone have any I for on differences other than the name?

Only difference I saw between two will be the stealth will have speed foam air, like the newest p790 udi.

Here are a few in-hand pictures of my first two Stealth UDI and DHY that came into our shop this week. One interesting note is Taylormade switching from Lamkin Crossline stock grips, to Super Stroke S-Tech. These look very similar to the SIM UDI/DHY series with just some refinement in shaping and weighting.

Thanks for the pics! The UDI looks sharp. And, I could not play that DHY….chunky back does not suit my eye.

Disappointing. Feel like they could have made it much better looking, even just using the new color scheme.

Those superstroke grips are just as good as the tour velvet... plus they are readily available for smaller clubs like ours. I imagine it was a supply chain decision on Taylormade's end

Sure, wasn’t putting it down, just was interesting to see something other than Lamkin or Golfpride on a major OEM’s clubs.

I carry the SIM UDI. The looks are very similar. I doubt there is much more they can do tech wise at this point.

Except when you try to use a hook blade to cut them off.  Whatever rubber those SS grips are made of does not like to be cut cleanly.  I cant stand replacing them.

The SIM UDI does have the SPEEDFOAM, at least that’s what the product page says.

my stealth udi came today.  i also have a the sim udi in the same loft.  top line ever so slightly thinner, and slightly less offset.  it suits my eye better than the sim udi.  def keeping it

It has the new speed foam. I guess it’s 69% lighter than the old foam. Which the sim did have… so now they were able to shift weight around better. And they say they made the udi alittle less blocky

I hit the 2 iron in both earlier and they felt incredible. Considering one now.

Ordered one to possibly finally knock the Ping Crossover 410 out of the bag. The Crossover is a little clunky but up until very recently it was a pure fairway finder for me.

Tried this club and it wasnt for me.  Feel (subjective) wasnt there for me.  Felt harsh.  Moved on.  Im sure its a great stick in the right hands.
