While I love and play Mizunos something about the shape of PW I've always felt was off.

Wow the 4 and 8 iron look AMAZING, that topline is smaller and so is the sole, perfect tinkering with an already amazing product. If you know Mizuno for some reason they have never been able to do their PW correct, I have no idea why or their logic behind their PW. 4-9 in these with some a 46-48 Vokey/Taylormade/Callaway would be god tier.

Meh.. they are nice. The placement of the jpx logo should have been heelside imo but im sure they will feel and preform great. I think the last 2 years irons looks better though. The pw isnt bad i think it just looks a touch more gi shaped. Not a set killer or anything. Fine fine just ship me a set mizuno!

Interesting profile at address.  I own 919 tour and MP5s.  The face shape and toe height of these look more like my MP5s then the 919 tours.

Really, why? I actually thought it looked really good for a Mizuno PW but to each their own.

It always been very rounded and goes back to 20 years or so when they started rounding off the wedges.

The 4 iron reminds me of the 919, but the 8 and PW look like the 900.

Yes! Finally a sweet looking and top performing iron that pros and elite amateurs can really fully trust to deliver any type of shot. Like a premium top blade with the forgiveness and feel of a cavity back. Maybe its the retro in me but why they dont make a two and three iron like Ping with the Blueprints is a big dissapointment for me. So I would blend my set, having the Blueprint 2 and three iron and then a full set of these al lthe way to the gap wedge. Then the j23 cobalt copper wedges in 54 degree and 60 degree will be a perfect setup for me. (I've never ever been a player that likes hybrids of 7 woods or 9 woods) Saw and read a few reviews of these online just after release and some were saying the long irons have the perfect minimal offset but the short irons were a bit of a let down because they had increased amounts of offset toward the pitching wedge? And what about the looks of the pitching wedge? It's the aesthetics over performance conflict once again. They look pretty darn good to me, then again I have not seen all the irons in the flesh from the players perspective top view at address. I really don't get why any player bitches about offset? I really dont get it. If you make the correct pass, the correct swing at the ball regardless of offset the ball is coming out square with the desired shape. Increased offset unless its really extreme like in a Ping Eye 2 one iron, should not matter. Its a weird psychological hangup with better players? Somehow they think that more  minimal offset leads to a better shot?? Uh...... OK??? Freddy and Ernie seemed just fine with their Major wins using a large offset iron the Lynx Parallax designed by David Boone. The offset in the shorter irons will be an advantage for me so I think this is the perfect iron for me, at last. My irons is the past have been Wilson 1200LT, Ping Eye 2+, Ping Zing Becu, Ping Zing 2, Lynx Parallax, Callaway x - 18 Pro Series, Callaway x - forged, Callaway Apex mb 21 (my current iron - which was a b**** to get shaft matched finally went with the Nippon Pro Modus 3 125 and it was sweet. The Project X asks too much of the player - no scope for a soft shot or cut down half shot - you want a shaft that can deliver any type of shot not just full ones. So you need power and grunt when you need it but also plenty of versatility and finesse and subtlety when you need it. The only 2 shafts to do that for me are the KBS $ -Taper and the  Nippon Pro Modus 3)

I bought a set a couple of weeks ago. We are in the getting to know you phase. I have a few tournaments in the next few weeks so I’m not looking to change up anything, but after it’s over, the 923T and my 223s and going to scrap for the bag.
