That's what makes it add up. I'm just a couple mph slower and rarely see 300 carry on the LM at sea level with similar launch and spin. Guess I gotta take a drive up into the mountains one of these days

That is also a range ball, add 5-6mph with a premium ball

I played a TSi3 10* with DI6 for a long time... tried both the TSR3 and 2 and went back to the TSi3 because I gained nothing with either upgrade.   Now playing a G430 LST with Blue TR and feel like I have gained all the way around!   Driver has always been my strong suit and I hit a lot of fairways.   Ping got this one right!, otherwise I would still have the TSi3 in the bag!

After extensive testing a couple of months ago, I narrowed my driver choice down to the TSI3, TSR3, and 430 Max. For me, the three models we were almost identical in overall performance with similar specs/shafts. So my choice came down to price. I was able to get a brand new TSI3 with GD IZ for $300 less then a 430 or TSR3. Thus far, I’m very happy with the TSI3 GD IZ combo

I’m sticking with my TSi driver, and not planning to try the TSR.  I’ve read and watched the early reviews, and it doesn’t seem there is much difference in performance of the 3’s.  I have my TSi3 dialed in really well for me and I don’t feel there is a need to make a driver change. It’s been awesome for me since day 1 in the bag.

Couldn’t agree with this statement more.

Thought I’d revive this thread now that tsr has been out for a while. I’m coming from a different situation. I had the og stealth in a 9* with a Tensei white 60tx. While the stealth felt great, it was shockingly hard to hit, and feel like it isn’t great for higher swing and ball speeds (makes sense with all the tour pros switching back to sims). Purchased a tsr2 in 8* with stock black 60 tx. I’m appalled. Swing speed went up about 3-5mph and ball speed a shocking 7-9mph. My carry distance is up about 12 yards and total is up about 17. I’m a high launch high spin player so I think the 8* has been money for me. My spin is way down but not too low where I lose control. Also feel like I’ve doubled my fairways since bagging the tsr (probably not double but noticeably way more accurate). I’m in the market for a 7 wood. I’ve been debating spending the money for the tsr but keep seeing that the tsi still holds up. Hopefully someone has opinions on this. Kind of hard to get fit since the tsi is off the market unless I buy one and take it into a fitting which sounds expensive lol. Would love to hear thoughts on this

I've had TSi2 16.5* in the bag since it came out. Its been money since I got the right shaft (see sig) and surefit setting (1* flat).

Had some Dicks' credit and got a great deal on the TSR2 16.5*.  Its good, but the TSi2 is significantly better for me.  Sound and feel are so much better, and I can move the ball around with TSi2 in ways that I can't with TSR.

I have a backup bag at my Dad's house in Jacksonville (I hate travelling with my sticks).  I sent the TSR2 up there, and kept the TSi2 in my gamer bag at home.

I got the tsi2 16.5 when it was new and tried the tsr2 version when I tried the drivers (both tsi and tsr). For my game, hands down the tsr driver beat the tsi, but for the fairway wood the opposite was true. So the tsi2 16.5 is still comfortably in the bag for me.
