Apparently when they did that a week or two ago (sitewide) it was a mistake and only happened for one day before they noticed it.

 

The last 15-20% off clearance has been over a month so they cant do it anymore for now.

 

Have to wait for the next one.

They are listed as average, but if this is one of the raw sets they may not be in bad shape just rusted. Not bad for the price.

Haha yes it was....funny enough I was leaning towards the one with the PX shaft but you said you knew that one wasn't the T model since you had returned it, so I went with this one instead. After I saw 15* in the description I wasn't expecting it at all, but here we are lol ! I about sh*t when I pulled it out of the box, TC serial and all. I know a handful of these went out as TA serial so was cool to see the TC as a bonus.

Hilarious. See, CPO is a crapshoot - but sometimes in a good way. They just lump items together.

 

Congrats, thats a legit tour truck built club made for a player that was given back probably after a short range session or built as a spare and never used. The length, tipping, SW, etc will probably all be tailored to that build. And yes a real TC serial and not a TA made-for-retail head that was sold by fairway jockey and club champion.

If something comes in with a TC serial it would be in a new product category under tour certified and not mixed in with the regular ones - I have seen TC serials get sent out with the regular retail listings but its even more rare than something like the above happening where variations get mixed up within the same product line.

Ordered a Mavrik SZ 3 wood that was listed as tour certified. Was hoping for an adjustable head, but it is bonded. The serial number is not TC or TA, it starts with V. Anyone know if this is actually tour certified?

I’m 99% sure It’s not, that it’s regular retail model.

It's not, they just F'd up and mis-categorized it. I've ordered a dozen clubs that were supposed to be TC and they show up as retail. Hourly workers in the warehouse let them slip through sometimes.

 

I know of several items right now that are live on the website which are listed as tour certified and are 100% not TC heads, but they dont take them down.

Speaking of serial numbers (I wasn't aware of some of these codes you guys mentioned), I bought a Paradym X driver that has 2 additional letters after the standard number of characters (typical like FYYDDDPXXXXX).  Ends in "FH".  Anyone else ever see that or know what that might mean?

That was a tour issue only head so if they did get it, it would be with a specific “tour certified” listing on its own and not with the regular models that you can see on the site right now. Usually tour issue stuff starts showing up a year after or so, so maybe in early 2024 they may show up on the CPO site IF any were sent to them

Callaway Pre-Owned Ebay account has "Like New" 2023 CB Wedges for $80-$90.  I grabbed a "56 sand wedge for $82, about half off from original price, only 3 months ago. 

 

I don't see 2023 CBs available at all on the actual pre-owned website.
