Alright dudes. The CPO holiday tour issue season is gearing up.

 

A bunch of more inventory was added to the Epic Speed tour issue heads over the weekend. Looks like a bunch of 5 woods and 3 woods.

 

There is one listing for a "Strong 3+ wood" or whatever and that is 100% a tour truck build for a player that was returned. And I have a slight hunch it MIGHT be a triple diamond T 3+ wood which was a very rare club exclusive to the Epic Speed line. (first year of the T models)

 

CPO has a habit of mis-categorizing clubs. You never know what you'll find! Check this out from last week and youll notice it was marked as a 3-wood 😂 (similar to how @endy found his T model):

Not sure if I should thank you or not, but that Epic Speed 3+ is coming my way lol .... always liked the ZF 70TX too, will report back if it is indeed a triple diamond T !!

Here's the photo from the conforming list so, it's real. Just crossing fingers that they mis-categorized it since there is no explicit category for the 'T' models in the Epic Speed line at CPO so they just toss them wherever. I just ordered a bunch of items, too, so if I get a T model again anywhere I'll let you know.

Yeah snagged them Sunday morning (dropped same time as the ZF70 TX), didn’t get to go through Cole/Rep since I knew someone would snag them before I did.  
 

Hoping this weeks promo has them on sale to get some $ back, $180-200 is what they were priced, just like reg stock shafts that are up atm. 
 

They’ve been doing updates on the website as well, on mobile site, on some general searches for specific items you can sort by recently added. Looks like they also auto update anything that’s sold unlike before you’d have to check cart to see if it’s actually available (reset sometime overnight previously).

Nice! I was busy on Sunday and prob would have waited for Cole so I could do 25% off haha. Still a great deal as the shafts alone are worth 150 each and tour issue epic speed heads still go for that much also on eBay.

Yeah the extra $40 less of a worry than someone else snagging them, I’m honestly surprised the ZF one lasted that long. Had it in my cart last night but didn’t really need a strong 3w, been gaming TI MK2 ZX 3w digitally lofted to 13.5 that throws bombs, probably one club that won’t leave the bag for a few years.

Can’t say I haven’t done that a few times when there’s an item I want but only one in stock.

 

I’ve grabbed like a dozen tour issue fairways from CPO in the last week 😅

Two aren’t TC/TA (V and F serial), other two aren’t T’s which I honestly, it’s always a roll of the dice and hit both the TCs and they faired really well.

Well @third-times-a-charm can’t win em all…didn’t get a T model and to top it off the crown is scratched up. Was supposed to be like new condition. Really disappointed that they shipped it loose in the box without the headcover too, just baffles me lol

Never fails how the ship stuff together… Out of all the golf companies, Callaway/CPO has to be worst for their packing ability. I once made an order of iron set, 2FWs and driver, all shipped in normal box clanging against each other 🙃

love CPO, but man it's been 50/50 for me on like new.

and most of the time its average or good at best.  Wish they'd just put some damn headcovers on clubs.  Dunno why it is such a thing.  instead of throwing it in the box, slip it on????

I just think of CPO as a 'warehouse' operation at this point. I have to do extra work to find stuff and it's hit or miss. With some of the things I order it's legit like I dont know what will actually show up - sometimes it's nowhere near the correct product. I get 5w when I order 3w, non TC when I order TC, completely different finishes on putters than listed, etc - not even mentioning the condition issues.

 

I just had customer service refund me 10% off my previous order for some 'very good' items looking very 'average'.

 

If CPO did not have a no questions asked return policy and good CS I probably wouldnt be so high on them but they take back everything I send back to them without fail. Sometimes they even tell me to hit the club while I have it and just return it and I still get the 100% refund lol

Going down memory lane soon with an R7 425TP w/ a VooDoo SVS7 and a 905T w/ Grafalloy Blue--both were ~$50 shipped lol hopefully they're in half-decent shape

I'm working on my "old man" bag currently - stocking up on hybrids from CPO. 

 

Titleist 816 H1s are my target. 818s are more coveted because of the closed channel behind the face - so 816s are going cheap.

 

Was able to get a 25* and a 21* with 2015 Diamana S+ shafts for about $60 a piece. 

 

With the adjustable hosels, I plan on turning the 21* down to 22* and turn my existing 913h 19* up to 18*. 

 

In total, with regripping and shipping, this reworking has cost about $150. 

 

The 25* came in this past weekend. 21* should be here by Friday. 

 

Based on my experience with the 25*, I'd say the 816 H1s hit the ball very well.

There was no adjustable 13.5* model, only 15 and 17, so I would wager they are not.

 

EDIT: Sorry I see there are 15* models in stock still - they might be but not sure until you get it in hand.
