One of my favorite albums. One of the first gifts my wife got for me since she knows I am a Lindsey Buckingham fan and his guitar playing is what got me to want to learn. Think Lindsey is underrated as a musician and guitarist. Super creative and very unique playing style that is hard to replicate, great vocals, and even produced a solo album that he played every instrument on.

Fun Fact, Frozen Love on this album is what made Mick Fleetwood invite Lindsey to join the band. Lindsey said that his girlfriend (Stevie) had to come to, Mick agreed.

I have to send props to chisag who on page two shared this.

"... I am assuming you have Buckingham Nicks? When I was a DJ in Chicago I was going to interview Nicks and Chris Cross and before we went on air I mentioned Buckingham Nicks was one of the best LP's I had heard to date as far as every single song being so good without one weak tune. She got emotional and left the booth and C Cross said he made the same mistake when they first met. Evidently she was worried she would never recapture the raw emotion of that LP. "

I did not know about the album myself and first learned about it with chisag's post. I was just assisting PixlPutterman by sharing the album from YouTube. I listened to it today and enjoyed it. Thanks Mackdiddyp for that fun fact.

She’s got a great deadpan rocknroll voice and the songs that carry it are really good.  Love that choice

do people under 40 listen to music? or just video game soundtracks

I'm sure you can find many of these bands to stream, but beware the songs are more than 20 seconds and will not have a video  of somebody falling or getting hit in the head with somethnig accompanying them and you probably wont get any snap chat points for listening, so I totally inderstand why you havent heard any of these bands

lol

I'm also 41 and listed Pink Floyd as one of my 5.....My top Spotify playlists are all '70s to 90's playlists. That is mostly because i listen to it while cooking and my wife despises Wu-Tang (she's not perfect, what can i say)

One of my friends who is 50 says i have the weirdest taste in music of anyone he's ever met. Mostly just because i love old rock , but also know the words to pretty much every Wu-Tang track that came out before the year 2000....lol

Maybe not in the Billboard top 10, but there are plenty of great artists still making real music.

If your looking for some of those great artists making real music you should check out The Current out of Minneapolis or KEXP out of Seattle. Both stations play a lot of great up and coming artists

I have a suggestion. Will someone start a thread of your top 5 female vocalists?  I think it would be well received. I'd do it but I have already enough on my plate.

Thanks in advance to the WRX member who also thinks that this would make an interesting thread and gets it started.
