All inclusive resort with unlimited golf

Recommended Posts

Looking for recommendations for an All inclusive resort Caribbean or Mexico with unlimited golf. Hoping to find something that has multi play pricing or cart fee only pricing.  Something that is reasonable for playing everyday for a weeks stay. Hoping to keep it to under $100 pp per round.  Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. 🙂

My club does a winter trip to Casa de Campo in the DR. It's all inclusive and it always has positive reviews.

$3300 a night? Yeah, that ain’t happening for this poor retiree.

Sandals "free" golf is a scam. They tack on a bunch of fees day of (exorbitant cart fee, mandatory caddie, etc).

Sounds just like Casa De Campo policies, caddy plus $199 fee and no refunds or rainchecks. Great resort though but seems not what he was asking for. Maybe it is. Only he knows.

Emerald Bay cart is $50 for 2 and OP said under $100. Korn Ferry event held there. Sandals has more places to go and play not just the DR. Suggestion was for him as he was the one who asked and he can research to find what he wants.

Its been a long time (30 years) but I stayed in ClubMed in Ixtapa Mexico and really enjoyed it. It's a more expensive now of course, but 2 people for a week in May or June is now around $1700 and that includes everything. There are two courses nearby that certainly aren't on the same caliber as the  Casa de Campo course but it was golf and there were some nice views. I think the cost per round now is $50-$100. We didn't have a rental car but cabs were very easy to use.

Again, I was there a long time ago and if I were to consider going again I'd do some research to make sure the place still gets good reviews. My wife and her friend loved the location as there was lots to do at the resort, and Zihuatanejo is a short drive and there are lots of markets and shops there. Her shopping cost a lot more than my golf but I didn't get any grief taking the time off to play.

I also did a week in Cancun but for all-inclusive this ClubMed was much better. I was concerned because of the party reputation ClubMed used to have but it was a very low key, restful stay.

I went through their booking app and selected 4 persons, prime season. It was about a grand per person per night. Which for AI plus a private villa plus all the golf stuff is pretty reasonable. The language of the package clearly indicates it’s for more than one person.

Same as ND said.... I also did 4 nights in March for a group of 8 and it was 2000 total a person which is a crazy deal for a villas and unlimited golf.

$100 for all inclusive with golf is going to be unlikely.

That’s just for the golf. Room, food, and drink will be around another $250 per night.

looked for spring break in march.  2299 for 4 people per night for a casita.  that's like 575pp, not cheap, but doesn't seem too awful for all inclusive meals plus all inclusive golf.

def not 3K/person/night like you suggested.

That’s just ridiculous. These resorts are nowhere near the violence. Compared to Chicago, New York, Atlanta, New Orleans, Philly, or St. Louis you’re much safer at a resort in Mexico….

Just ignore him. That person has either never been, or his idea of a resort is the Holiday Inn.

You just go right ahead and pack your sidearm going into Mexico. Let us know how it goes after you get out of the Mexican prison in 10-15 years.

I dont think Sandals is a scam. I have been to Emerald Bay in the Bahamas twice, Ochie in Jamaica once and La Toc in St Lucia 3 times. La Toc has an executive couse onsite and shuttles to Cap Estate for 18. Enerald Bay has an 18 hole on site that is great and is a stop on the Korn Ferry tour. Ochi has an 18 hole couse off site but shuttles all day. The greens fees are included but you'll have to pay for a cart or a caddy. Post covid they waived the mandatory caddy at LaToc and it was maybe $30 for the cart so it wasnt crazy.

Sorry if I offended you guys with my Mexico being a dangerous place these days...

I’m not saying the resorts & golf courses aren’t beautiful, it’s just you read a lot about cartels and drugs everywhere. With so many other choices available, I just wouldn’t risk it.

just my 2 cents.

There’s reading from uninformed sources, then there’s real life experience.  Guess which one I trust.  I thoroughly enjoy wandering Mexico solo.

Same with me. Mexico is a wonderful, safe country with the best street food. As is the case with every area, Be smart and aware of your surroundings and don’t go looking for trouble. It’s the people looking for hookers and blow that have issues, not normal tourist folks.
