Ok, so odd, we were so excited, I was fist pumping to the MI music as the move began, the first 30 minutes was really good, then…it just got lame for us 🤣

So, we left! Best part is, we saw the bartender (it’s a movie place with a bar and serves food etc) and told her we didn’t like it and she gave us 2 free passes!

 

Now, the movie has tons of ubiquitous awesome reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, so maybe….we were just hungry 🤣. We went to eat,

 

Oof lamb shank! And that other dish is risotto with veges but all rolled up, never saw it prepared that was but it was great. I told the French owner that the lettuce and tomato on the side looked too “pedestrian” for the high quality of the main dish haha, I can bust his chops like that ; )

Dude my workload triples in the summer. My time spent in the kitchen these days means making dishes that are quick and easy. This will go on for a few months more. Cooking requires standing, and I do enough of that on the clock and while playing on my days off. Plus because I don't go out to eat much, when I frequently grab take out I am still supporting my local restaurants. 🙂

 

This weekend is our member-member tournament (my favorite of the season) so I got a haircut after work to look clean and proper.🙂  In the same strip mall as my hair salon is a decent Asian restaurant.  G

It was good food and I saved some steps. 😉

... I don't care how good it is on it's own, most franchises are played out after the 2nd and certainly the third film. And your food always looks like it should be on a Food Network special! 🤗

Cool rolled up risotto. I too have never heard of it served in that fashion.

But we really liked all the M1s especially the last couple. And the reviews are insanely good, is like 97% rotten tomatoes both critics and movie goers. 
 

I even asked the owner of the restaurant and he said he saw it and loved it 🤣

Years ago it was a tad past shoulder length, but once I turned 30 that stuff was gone. You know my profession. I have always cared about having a professional appearance on the job.

I had a 1981 280ZX 2+2. It was a great trouble free car for us, other than the usual rust spots that popped up on almost all of them.

The reliability greatly improved with the second generation. Those Z's were my favorite as I wasn't old enough to really appreciate the first generation. 

Was yours black and gold with T-tops?  I always wanted a white one with either red or blue leather. 

I've liked all the Z cars , but the three Japanese sports cars that I ended up owning were a Prelude, a Celica GTS, and a MR 2. 😄

... Thankfully it does not. In fact we are contractually obligated to fulfill any Commercial obligations if the Theatrical side strikes. A good thing because as you well know they may both be SAG/AFTRA but they are completely different entities and one has nothing to do with the other.

... I was absolutely riveted with the chase scene in Bullit. Wanted a Shelby ever since. But 1,000 chase scenes later, it better be something unique and different or I am just bored. Same with some fight scenes. We KNOW Ethan Hunt isn't gonna die so don't try and build suspense around the fallacy that he might. Don't drag it out. Give me intelligent dialog, interesting set ups, intricate execution of plans, some close calls and if you can throw in something different or new all the better. Like the opening scene with Gina Carano and Channing Tatum in Haywire and a fight like I had never seen in a movie. I don't believe I took a breath til it was over.

My son's first car was an MR2, with a racing engine in it.  Luckily he traded it for a Ford Ranger pickup.  He turns 25 next week and is still alive.  He is currently on his 11th vehicle.  Dad is on his 11th vehicle, as well.
