I get that Superbirds and Daytonas are super desirable these days in the collector world. But damn, they are fugly and I get why they didn’t sell when 1st introduced. Still a hard pass for me.

I'm with you. Back in the 90's a good friend of mine drove out to North Dakota and bought a minty Superbird for $15K. He spent a couple grand on it and sold it 3 years later to a guy from Chicago for $52K.

Because chi posted a putting photo, I had to drop this one. I hate "photo of a photo" but I somehow don't have the OG digital version of this one. This hangs in my lil office here ...

My birdie putt on The Road Hole. With the Go-Lo I rocked on that trip. I normally don't even hit 50 yard pitches with a glove, let alone putt with one but that day was exceptional. I was absolutely soaked through the 4 layers I was wearing that round 😂

(I missed the putt. But it's still a cool photo!)

... While every putting stroke is unique and should be performance based, I absolutely love seeing a shaft and forearm on the same plane. 👍

After my grandma passed away, we were going through her house to tidy it up and get it ready to sell.

In a closet in one of the bedrooms was every single issue of TV Guide from like the early 60s till the most recent one; stacked up chronologically. She died in 1998.

That was A LOT of TV Guide. Man, I wish I could ask her "Grandma, why? This is weird."

 Because she could

Ya know what she could also do? Put sugar into literally everything she cooked. And she taught that to my mom. And my mom taught it to me 😂

Look at my putter NJBF, are you feeling nauseous now? 😄

I have spent the last couple hours puking and cleaning the blood out of my eyes!  Never has something so ugly ever been created.  If the last 1 was so good, why did you replace? It couldn’t be because this is an upgrade looks wise! 😂

... Unlike my full swing, I have never changed anything about my putting stroke. It has always been the best part of my game and I was not dumb enough to change it. As long as I do my back/core exercises I don't have a problem.  I have a slight one bend and a slight bend at my waist and then my arms just hand down. That said, I can't really practice much and only drop 2 balls on the practice green because staying in my stance for more putts that that is asking fro trouble.

I was about to respond with the exact same thing - my grandmother kept TV Guide and Reader’s Digest. I actually enjoyed going through the volumes of Reader’s Digest.

My grandmother also subscribed to TV Guide and Reader's Digest for decades. She would keep each new issue for a year and then toss them out. I loved reading her TV guide magazines. In the 70's I was looking in them for cute girls like Farrah, Linda Carter, Lindsay Wagner, Cher, and Marlo Thomas!

Yeah I read these periodicals too.

Very pretty mountains. I often miss the desert. Thanks chisag. You are looking tall, fit, and handsome sir !

That is dropping it in the slot correctly gents.

I have a golf buddy that also tees is up like you are doing in that photo, and that is tee it up real close to the tee marker. He is also a very good player. I have no idea how you guys do it. That would so distract me.

Hey coach @chisag

Today at the range I tried H's set up with driver. I found an extra 10 yards instantly.

I widened my feet, I put the ball further up in my stance, I set the shaft angle like H does, and I dropped my right shoulder a little lower. I tell you the balls were carrying further and I did not lose any consistency. I liked what I discovered this afternoon. Will this be a one hit wonder for me coach, or did I find something that will help?

Thanks

... I normally play a draw to straight ball and depending on pin position or where the trouble is off the tee, I will tee it up all over the box but more often than not I'll be hugging that tee marker. One of my pet peeves is a tee box that slopes off on the sides.

... As with anything new, it is easy to over do it the next time out. But a wider stance, ball forward and teed a little higher producing a more stable base and a + angle of attack is a great driving position. It will automatically drop your rear shoulder so all good. But just be careful with that Freddie reverse angle. It makes it easier to use your hands more if you haven't been using them but also makes it easier to use your hands too much. I am a big fan of whatever works. But can you repeat it?  I like a straight line from shoulder to ball with a driver as it is the easiest position to return to with every swing. With that hand position you have to be able to come back to a different position at impact and if you don't have really great timing it can cause a myriad of problems.

One of my old buddies did the same and I think it got to the point where he was purposely setting up so close to tee markers just to eff with us. 😂

And that last point reminded me of something. Mom sent me this photo a handful of years ago. It's from my teenager bedroom ... I'd say '94? '95?
