Yes, very much.  I have a Player 3 and a VLS in DXR.  Perhaps an unpopular opinion here; but the “tour grade synthetic” fabric Vessel uses on their normal bags feels and looks very very low quality to me.  
 

The DXR IMO looks better, is lighter, and is more durable.  I really wish they offered more color options.

I also cannot imagine how good the synthetic material feels on a hot day especially when sweating a ton.

Anyone have the white player III?  How is it holding up?  Debating between the player IV pro in white and DXR pro.

I have mixed feelings on the "tour grade synthetic" look, but I think the 'pebbled' look of the Player IV Pro is a big upgrade and does a lot to elevate the aesthetics.

Apparently they've made updates to the bottom of the bag to help mitigate club tangle. Interested to hear if it works out in real world usage

I bought a VLX 2.0 at the end of last year to have something lighter to use when needing to use a caddie.  Club tangle was the main reason I stopped using Ping bags.  I was really worried about club tangle due to size of the VLX, but have yet to experience it with that bag. I've been really curious how people are having tangle issues with the much larger Players bag, unless it's only related to the 14 way?

I have the 6-way Player 3, and club tangle is almost nonexistent.  IMO there is very little room to improve without going “full 14-way”.  Good for them if they figured it out.

 

The picture I saw of it look to be “steps” at the bottom.  I suppose it could minimize grips bunching together, and thus further minimize tangle.  It’s also more plastic to add weight…. Which also appears to have happened.

 

 IMO they could have left well enough alone and dedicated some innovation to improving their water bottle sleeves and adding a cart strap pass-thru. Those are the two areas I could see truly needing an improvement over the Player 3.

Starting my second season with the Player III DXR. So far so good. The only upgrade would be a full length umbrella sleeve made from the DXR material.

Cart strap pass thru is probably the biggest miss on the Players IV IMO.

I have the P3 now.  They should've added a cart strap pass thru as mentioned and also lengthened the umbrella hold.  It's very short.  Other than that the P3 is very ideal.

I don't have one, but considered it as an option. The reviews I've seen are definitely mixed.

I thought the VLX was smaller than the VLS. I have a Gen 1 VLX and it is a 10 club bag vs my VLS with 14 clubs.
