Tried on the Primos and was not a fan.  Too thin, and too tight for my big a** and quads.  

 

I think they're a quality, premium jogger and look great on the right person.  That person is not me unfortunately.

Haven't gotten my primo's delivered yet but I can say the only reason why I didn't try to mecade's was b/c there is no steel/grey color.  Odd to me... not sure if the khaki or jade green color is supposed to be close but they threw me off.

You might want to check out the Krux Golf - club pant. They’re a pretty thick material & have belt loops. I had some & really liked them, they just go in and out of stock too often. But Decent shipping to the states from London though, only like 4/5 days.

Got my primo's yesterday.  Unfortunately I'm exchanging them for the "short" version.  I had a feeling the regulars would be too long for me.  Despite being 6 ft, I definitely have shorter legs and longer torso.  If you wear 30" length or less in normal pants you definitely want to go short.  I think the 3.5" difference with the shorter pairs will be perfect.  Overall impressed with the quality just hoping the exchange goes smooth.

I finally wore my primo joggers this past sunday for a round. Temps were in the mid 60's with a breeze so although the material was thin, i wasn't cold. I'm about 6'2" with a 33" inseam ~ 195lbs and the 34R fit perfect... slim fitting without being overly snug

Picked up some Peter Millar “Blade performance ankle” trousers in the sale earlier in the year… worn on a few Dewey 2 degree mornings, they are light but warm and are one of the most comfortable trousers I own.

Got my primo exchange yesterday.  The short length is good for me and overall the primo joggers are really nice.  If I had to nitpick I do wish the waistband had a bit of stretch to it.  They fit fine and they're comfortable just which the band gave a little bit.  I feel like that's a nice touch for pants you're moving in.

I love Primos, I have every color. I have an athletic figure and unless you aren't being honest with yourself and have more of a husky figure vs. athletic you'll be fine.  I have the 32 short, I normally wear a 31 waist, but not an option.  If anything, I would recommend you size up one waist size if worried. I have plenty of room in the quads and butt and mine aren't tiny, same with calves.  I honestly wear them all the time not just golf.

 

BTW, on my winter bulk I got up to 175lbs at 5'9'' and they still fit just fine, very sharp looking can be dressed up or dressed down.  Awesome travel pant.

 

Also, who ever posted the Macades.......they look like an exact knockoff my guess same Alibaba sweatshop...

 

I really really want to try the Peter Millar Blade ankle pants.....just at $200 with tax......wow!!!

 

Just saw Macade makes a tapered leg pant......wish they had a 28 length.  Anyone try their pants?

Check out Asher as well. I have a pair and I love them. They are almost like Lululemon ABC Joggers but not as long, belt loops, and all the pockets.

Wore my primos joggers this past weekend for a round. Temps started in the 50s and rose up to about 65. The joggers were perfect since the mosquitos were pretty active. Have to say, I'm very impressed with the joggers. The short length is perfect for my short self. I'm a fan. Will probably get 2 more if they have a sale/discount code again. Would like to try the Macade joggers. Can anyone provide any comments on how they compare if you have both?

Crzy yoga on Amazon makes a knockoff of the Lulu ABC pant that is great.  Also, I'm loving the Apex pant from UNRL.  No belt loops but look and fit amazing.  I got them in navy and black.

I ordered the Unrl Apex joggers.  Like the fit and material but am torn on the color so I ordered a couple more to compare.

 

Also ordered the Concourse and Halifax pants to try.

Following up on my last post ... I ordered the three pants from Unrl, Apex, Halifax, and Concourse.

 

Of the three, the Concourse will definitely go in my closet.  From a work perspective, these are almost perfect.  I wish they had a couple more colors, but if I am dressing up at all for work I am usually on the road traveling and these should work great for that purpose.  Dressy enough for a polo/buttondown/sweater combo, slim legs without clinging, belt loops, and good length options.

 

I do really like the Halifax and Apex but am torn on the length.  If I were a bit younger and a bit slimmer, both might find a place in my rotation, and I may end up keeping the Apex pair.  If you want a jogger with belt loops, the Halifax should be on your short list.  For me, the Apex will probably work for a fall/winter option as I do like to have a slim tapered leg on pants to keep them out of the dew and grass.

I got my Halifax also, they are going back, wish they had the same taper as Apex, little too baggy in the calf area for me, but a very nice, lightweight pant.

Lululemon ABC Joggers. Nothing compares. No belt loops which I know some of ya'll require but if you can let that feature go I promise this will be the best pair of joggers out there.

These won't fit the OP's requirements, but just for anyone else coming to this thread, I just received a few pairs of the 'agility slim pant' from Dicks Sporting Goods (their brand), and they look to be excellent for summer wear if you want something that will help prevent bugs and having to slather on sunscreen.  They do perhaps run a bit short though.  I'm 6' tall and my waist size is normally around 32" but my inseam is usually from 30" to 32" depending on brand, and these pants will just touch the tops of my shoes, which is how I prefer them.  They have an elastic waist with the string hidden inside, and have two front pockets and a back one, so plenty for holding my normal golf accessories.
