(almost) All Haywood bag.

Finally got my driver and 3 wood from @haywoodgolf. Got the putter and driving iron 2 months ago and just built the MB 3 iron last week. I am extremely happy with this bag. 

 

They don't yet make a 5 wood, so there's a PXG 0211 under the head cover..  🤣

I have hit some incredible drives with it. I really like the muted sound, too. I hit my longest drive on 4 today and it was just glorious. Right down the middle.

And yes there are 15 clubs in my bag because there are 15 slots in it 🤣. If I were competing I would pull the driving iron.

The blades are amazing. It was reconfirmed when I did a fitting for the TaylorMade P7MB. The TM's were great, but a far cry from these. The fact these were half the price is a bonus, I'd pay $1200 for them easy.

I was just wanting to support a small shop making amazing lefties. The fact the clubs are amazing is totally a bonus.

I have thought about getting the hybrid as I have played a few before. I had originally bought both MB and CB irons with the intention of blending a set. But the blades were so good, I sold the CB's. 

 

Ian at TXG says "Nobody needs a 4 iron blade" and I beg to differ. 🤣

What do you think about their putter? I have a set of irons and just ordered the driver from Haywood. I’m interested in adding the same putter you have as well. TIA from a fellow lefty.

I really like it. I got the weight kit with it and the stock weights are actually perfect, so totally not needed for me but it's a cool accessory.🤣 

 

If you looked at my signature over the last 3 years, it was changing every month until I ended up here. I can honestly say as cheap as I am, I would pay twice what I've paid for my set without issues.

This reminds me of the guy that said he likes to play once in a while with a training aid grip on his driver. A very serious, fact filled member pointed out that it was a rules violation and the proof was now catalogued and saved! 😂 Not sure if the ‘golf police’ were ever called or not 😜

I’m pretty close to feeling that way about my setup too.

 

Weird feeling going to to Golf shop and feeling like most/all the stuff there isn’t really better than what’s already in my bag, Lol.

When I did the TaylorMade iron fitting it became obvious that my current sticks were best. Not sure if it's just because I've hit them for a year or what. But he tried a bunch of shafts, length and lie angle changes, I hit the P7MB well, but it wasn't as sharp as my Haywood's and I felt like everything was going right of my aim. 

 

The MB was better than the MC, but neither felt as good as my Haywood's. I still plan to get a set of heads of the Takomo 301 MB's to compare. I'd be curious if the Takomo and Haywood are made from the same blank. I've also been drooling over the Golfa blades. I'm a whore and I own that. 🤣
