Callaway UT Tour Issue? What Do I Have?

I just picked up a Callaway X Forged UT iron at Play it Again. It’s got a single diamond and a TC serial number as well as a numbered sticker on the shaft. See the pictures. I can’t find much online about this model without the cavity. I’m guessing tour issue off the truck with the players number on the shaft? Thought I might email Cole at Callaway and ask. Any thoughts? What exactly did I just buy?

Thanks for the link! I bought it for $120 knowing it was something special. May play it or resell it. I know this isn’t the place to ask values but I’ll have to dig around online to see if I can find any information about how to even price it once I do throw it up

Good deal from what you can probably get out of it. Won't be much info on resale , but I can tell you there is an outrageous priced one on an auction site right now.

Dibs when you do! I've been looking for one of these provided it's 19*. And yes, this is a tour only product that is very hard to find.

Nope it’s actually 22 degrees.  Interestingly enough it’s got a KBS Tour c-taper lite stiff shaft. I would have guessed it would have been fitted with a graphite shaft but I’m guessing whoever Callaway built it for blended it with the rest of his iron set

That makes sense at that loft since that would be more of a modern 4-iron replacement. Feels like it probably came from a mini-tour source or similar.

Very rare. Cole nor anyone at Callaway would know anything about it tbh - only the tour truck guys.

 

Its worth north of $500 to the right person - last ebay auction I saw was like $800 I think.

This model apparently is coming to retail in coming weeks for a fall release . Been in your players bags for over a year now.

Yeah I picked it up, put it back, but went back to it a few minutes later because I kept thinking I had never seen that exact model. When I saw the tour serial number I knew it had to be something special. Had no idea how rare it actually was until I tried searching online and posted it on here. Knowing what it might be worth I’m sure I’ll throw it up for sale. I have no business playing it and especially knowing what I could use the money to buy on Callaway Preowned 😂😂😂
