Does that putter grip add any length to your putter? If so, does anyone know how much? With them being sold out I was looking at the "3.0 XL" which appears to be 13.75 inches long rather than 17 inches, but not sure how much length it would add, if any.

Not sure what you mean? The grip will run further down the shaft but it doesn't add any length as you still need to slide the grip all the way onto the shaft. In my instance, I added a 4 inch extension before putting my grip on

Okay perfect, that's what I was wondering. Their putters are so long I didn't know if the putter shaft only ran up 80% of the grip or so. Thank you.

If it did it would have 4-5 inches of pretty bendy rubber at the butt. Generally you put the longer grips on longer shafts (or shafts with extensions on them).

Just painted it this past weekend, and figured why not try the Versa scheme, and if I don't like it I can just sandpaper it again and change it up.  

 What did you use for paint? I got a red coming and was thinking about doing the same

Using Rustoleum High performance enamel for right now.  Depending upon how that holds up I may look at Cerakote or Duracoat or something similar.

Why does he black out the face logo but leaves the big red one in the cavity? If it was about concealing it, put some black electrical tape in there which would not add weight.

No, I'm not hating on Wyndam's putter.  

 

I'm just saying that you don't need the 17 inch grip if you are gripping it on the end.  Maybe Wyndham just likes it.  Maybe he just liked Rickie's putter and wanted a replica.  He can cover the whole shaft with a grip as far as I care.   But Rickie and Wyndham do not use the 17 inch grip the same way.  The reason Rickie uses the 17 inch grip is that he grips it way down and the grip that hangs back serves as a counterweight.
