Anything FootJoy - they have withstood the test of time and are my first choice. 2nd place to the Quater.

My feet are just a bit different and I won't list the "hot shot" shoes I bought which couldn't make 18 holes, the hype behind many shoes makes me question many of the reviews and the reviewers!

Adidas ZG21.

 

I tried literally everything this year before leaving for a trip to scotland. I honestly tried every style of footjoy, Ecco, Nike, True Linkswear, Johnson & Murphy, etc. Returning almost all of them. The shoe that fit me the best and was the most comfortable for me was actually the Adidas ZG21. I wore my Footjoy's during one round in scotland and my adidas every other round because they were so much more comfortable.

As a fellow paddlefoot, I have to give due to Footjoy.  The Hyperflex Boas in W (didn't need XW!), are comfortable, stable, easy to snug up, and waterproof.  Ecco Biom Hybrid 3s without the insole and sized up 1 are also excellent.  Stylish too, for a golf shoe.  

 

Wanted to love True Linkswear's shoes but I just can't do it as a 3-4E.  New Balance's offerings are hot garbage compared to the above shoes.  Sorry.  Haven't used a pair of Sketchers yet.

Ones that fits, to that end footjoy seems the only brand that still allows those with wide tootsies to get a wide size instead of sizing up to get the width desired.  

So for me footjoy 11.5 W fits far better than most every 12 out there.

Nike Air Max 90 G!  Comfort, style, and lasting.  I've walked so many holes in 2 different pairs and neither have creased anywhere, waterproof is still perfect, they still look practicly new (wipe down post round tbf), and the traction is still A1!
