Just received a Cokato hoodie, and man...I've never been so torn on a hoodie before. The material is great but the look is just...I'm not sure. Do I like it? Do I hate it? The answer is still unclear.

I feel the exact same way about the one I bought earlier this year. It was on final sale from Greyson so a return wasn't an option. It just feel like a very fitted workout top. The fabric is amazing, and the stretch makes it comfortable, but the size is just so much smaller than other typical Greyson sizing. And as a XXL, sizing up isn't an option in these, which is a shame, as one size bigger would be perfect. I love the design, and with a t-shirt underneath I can make it work, but I think that is all it will be relegated too. I will say that after a couple wears it has stretched a bit (along with some help stretching it). But I know after the first wash I am sure it will shrink right back. It is no wonder the recommendation is no drying for these.

Get the Colorado Hoodie.  It's that same material, slightly lighter, and fits perfect.  I really wear the cokato's with vests a lot.

Does anyone else feel like the polo sizing has gotten better in the last few months?

I used to swim in larges so I'd buy mediums that were borderline too tight, but the larges I've purchased since last fall have fit perfectly.

I've got about 15 polo's delivered in the last 2 weeks and I think you're onto something.  I've noticed over half of those fitting a little tighter(I've lost weight so it's not that haha).  It might be just random runs that are coming out differently?  The cherokee has always fit a little tighter and it seems like the saranac is now as well.  They've always been great about exchanging things if the sizing is off, but I hope they stick to a true Large and so on...

I may have to get the Montauk short taken in a bit in the waist, but the best fit I have found in the legs, wife even approved.

I got the slate gray, but need 1 more pair, black is sold out. How is the Stingray color? Are the whites ones see through?

Thanks

Really depends on the styles. The saranacs have always run a bit more slim. Same with the Cayuse. Their sales rep told me the solids and striped polos seems to run smaller while The printed styles run a tad larger.

Loading up on some Greyson gear for the upcoming season. First time purchasing the Montauk shorts and trousers. Need some help with sizing. I am wondering - do the pants/shorts stretch a bit in the waist after being broken in? For me, the 32” waist is snug in the waist and fits really perfect tailored-like throughout, a size 33” is comfortable in the waist even with a little breathing room but fits more slim-relaxed throughout the rest if that makes sense. I really like the tighter tailored look but don’t want to sacrifice comfort in the waist if that material in the waistband won’t stretch quite a bit. Anyone notice the waistband in the Montauks stretching due to the material? I know my Nike Vapors and Adidas Tour360’s stretched a lot but I’m not too familiar with the Greyson materials and how they wear over time or break in. Maybe it’s best to buy the comfortable size off the rack and then get it tailored?

I'm not sure but I like it. I'd much rather wear a large if possible.

These multiple instances for me have been with printed polo's.

The white are definitely see-through, as our any of the pastel colors. I wear the Montauk short exclusively and have them in every color, but I’ve returned the pastels and  the white because they’re completely see-through. I don’t know who can wear these.

Trendy has the Iona blue and Seahorse colors on sale. The Seahorse looks kinda purple, probably go with that blue.

I wear the white a lot.  Just get appropriate underwear.  The sequoia short is a little thicker and not see through in the white.

Stingray is a dark gray.  I wear the montauk pant in that color frequently.

Well, the stingray was $118, the blue were $59, so went that route. Looks like an easy color to match with since I wear white and gray mostly.

Appreciate your insight on the brand.

FYI, for those who are looking for Greyson polo's for cheap ($29.99). TJ Max and Marshalls website just released a bunch of new polos

Good catch. I picked up 4-5 polos from local Marshalls locations. They have been $49.99 each.

You go with 10” or 8” length shorts? I wish they made a 9”. I kind of feel the 8 is a little too short for my liking and the 10 is too long. Would prefer not to have to spend more to get them hemmed either.

10, which is fine for me, l like just above the knee.

I will probably take them to get the waist taken in when the other pair arrive, but can get by with a belt.

i have not found that they stretch very much at all over time, if anything i think mine have shrunk a bit (probably shouldn't have put in dryer).  i wear a 32" in just about all pants, but 33" for greyson and have had no issues.  the 32" greyson were a little too snug.

The Montauk white is really see through.  How would you describe the difference between Montauk vs Sequoia trousers/shorts? Thinking about ordering a pair.

The sequoia is a slightly thicker material.  To me, it has the comfort of a sweat pant with the look of class.  It's not like any other golf short you'll own.  They still have breathability and I can wear them in the muggy Ohio summer.  They are slightly shorter than the normal length Montauk.

Is it standard now that greyson is charging $20 restocking fee on returns? I got an email today on my return(from Canada) and they said they were charging me $20 for restocking...I feel like I'm dealing with a used car salesman.

That's funny.  They gave me $40 extra to take my return and use to buy something else.

I just ordered my first Montauk short in 8 inch length. I’m excited to see how they fit. If they are what I’m looking for, I’m getting rid of all my other shorts that are poor fitting.

I’d love to dive into the polos as well but how do you all find the fit? Most tops I wear are Holderness and Bourne with the occasional FJ in athletic fit.

Taylormade Qi10 Tour 16.5° - Tensei Blue RAW 75x

Odyssey Ai-One Jailbird Cruiser

Sorry are you being serious lol? I have returned a few things and never seen this before.

very serious...I buy an excessive amount of product, though.

When I started the return, about 2 screens in, it asked if I'd like to roll over the return amount and purchase something else now.  With that option they incentivized me by adding onto to my return credit.

They always respond to me on IG, email, chat box et al.  Their customer service, in my experience, has been top tier every time.

My experience (w/ the exception of H&M, I have nothing from them) is that the Greyson runs a slight tick on the L side of things.  FJ does as well.

I'm 6'0, 185 and a M in Greyson fits me well.  An FJ in M fits me fine.

6'2", 210 and Greyson M fits like Holderness & Bourne L.  The cherokee and spirit line of Greyson polo's fit exactly like H&B.

If you have any specific questions on any items, feel free to ask.  I can assist with most.

I can second this. I had the same option the last time I did a return. Asked if I wanted to roll it into store credit with some extra.

I think their customer service is great…in fact I just wrote them yesterday requesting that they consider offering the Montauk shorts in 9” and they wrote back immediately and said they’d provide that feedback and that”you may see 9” Montauk shorts in the future”.  I’m hoping I’m not reading too much into that but I’d be really fired up if they do since I’ve got at least 8 pairs of the pants…
