Pure Grips out of business!

I got charged for shipping when it said it be free. I am not going to complain since they are going out of business. 
has anyone have their order shipped yet? I am guessing it will be super delayed with all the orders and probably lack of staff to ship out.

Thanks all - looks like they pulled the free shipping and got it fully removed yesterday late evening (late afternoon it still said 'your card is eligible for free shipping'. I went ahead and ordered since it was about $.50 per grip shipping, which is still a great price. Thanks OP for posting.

I ordered at 8 am Monday and by 8 AM Tuesday I had tracking. UPS says they should deliver Friday to me here in Illinois so pretty quick turnaround all things considered.

 

I feel like with how fast so many of the grips sold out they may have had pretty low stock and knew this was coming down the pipe already and hadn't been restocking anything for quite a while.

Same goes for any industry! I have a friend who works for a major electronics manufacturer in Taiwan, and his job title is literally "obsolescence engineer". His job is to make sure that products fail after a certain period of time - beyond the 1 year warranty, but not too after long because they want people to buy new stuff after a few years.

Has anyone not received their shipping notification? I placed two orders this week (first on Monday) and haven't received a tracking number for either one. Not trying to be impatient, but I see a lot of folks talking about they got their tracking in 24 hours.

I placed two orders on Monday morning.  Both shipped out on August 2.

I placed orders on Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning.  After seeing the payments went through, I still hope they ship me the grips. I am being a little impatient only because the anxiety they wont ship the items. Along with it saying on the site they won't refund as all sales are final.  Hoping for the best but prepared for the worst.

It looks like my Monday order just got refunded, so I don't get the grips but luckily it appears they are refunding. I believe the "All Sales Final" message only applies if they ship you your order. Here's hoping my Wednesday order goes through!

I put in two orders Monday. I got shipping details the same day for the first, and a notification for the second order yesterday.

I’ve never understood their product.  Do you need to buy an air compressor to put them on or can you just use tape and solvent?

You can use tape and solvent, if you'd like. That's what I've done in the past with no issue.

Awww... that's sad.  I've been using pure grips for years.. honestly, the grips last longer than i keep each/set of clubs.

I know i'm  late to the thread, but i knew the writing was on the wall when i saw them close their warehouse in Mesa, AZ last year.

 

thier warehouse was located next to the dispensary i frequently visited 😎

 

I never played their grips (Lamkin UTX homer) but like others said their product hardly shows wear after multiple rounds. I had fellow caddies swear by them, but I guess their greatest attribute led to their demise.

Placed order on 7/31 and just received an email that half of my order will be refunded (13 red dtx grips). Still haven’t received tracking or any other updates on the other half of my order (13 white combo grips).

My order from 8/1 just shipped today. Finally... I sent them a note after my order and never got a response. I sent another reply today and just got an auto bounce back about the 5-10 business days delay. Good luck to those waiting for orders.

Same, my order from 8/1 shipped today. Just waiting on my 8/9 order and I'll have plenty of grips for the foreseeable future. I think we just need to be patient, it's probably like one person fulfilling these.
