Are the t150 fully forged? The website says forged and when I asked online on the  titleist  website the person says they are fully forged with the tungsten added in. How accurate is it that they are fully forged?

what do you mean by fully forged? It's obviously not a 1 piece forging in the 3-7 irons as they have tungsten in them.

Yeah, the whole chassis is forged ... not like the fake forged clubs that some offer that are just a forged face (looking at you, Ping).

I meant like the comment below about being just forged face I should have been more clear. Like pong says they are forged but it’s the face that’s forged also like the comment below about ping.

what am I missing about the 8-gw

Not sure what you mean. Between the T100 and T150, it's just a different loft and slightly wider body/sole. The 150 also has a "muscle channel" behind the face to give it more flex. Both have Tungsten.

If you mean between the short irons and the long irons in each set, they are the same except for the Tungsten.

That’s what I mean so all the irons form 3 to the gw all have the tungsten

Pretty sure the tungsten is only in the 7i and longer, not in the 8i and shorter. At least that's how it was with the previous T100 irons.

Check out the deflection from this extreme toe strike only to lose about 6 yards of carry distance. Crazy forgiveness in these irons! 1.37 was my highest smash factor during this session and this toe strike was 1.34.

The T150 is the iron that has stopped my ho’ing. These are my GOAT after about a dozen rounds. When paired with the right shaft, I truly feel like they are in their own class of irons and I’ve tried many (i230, BPS, zx7, Apex CB, Apex Pro, Mizuno 225’s, 243’s the list goes on). Turf interaction is superb (I’m steep) and the distance consistency is perfect. Haven’t had a single flier yet. These are just money.

Just got my T200/T150 set. Initially was 5-7 in the 200s and 8-GW in the 150s. Ended up buying a 150 7-Iron because the spin and left/right dispersion were so much better.

Not sure what to do with a leftover 7 iron lol.

How you finding the forgiveness and distance between the two? I also split at the 8 but I’m debating buying the 7 as well…

The T200 is a touch more forgiving but had worse left/right dispersion for me. T150 feels worse off mishits but the end result is largely the same especially with thin/toe strikes.

T150 center strikes feel awesome.

Has anyone compared T150 against Blueptint S? Can’t find a decent comparison anywhere. Torn between these two so bad.

Had a fitting last week and hit pretty much everything available this year and it came down to these two irons. For me the misses were just better in the T150. Actually preferred the looks of the Blueprint S better, and thought it was going to be my iron going into the fitting but the T150 was just easier. T150 also had a slight edge in distance, like 5 yards but they do have stronger lofts.

Quick update for those thinking about these irons:

I've had them since last fall, I switched from the 2019 T100. The transition has been relatively seamless. I am seeing lower spin, but a significantly higher ball flight than my T100. I have no issues stopping these on firm greens. I have no issues with distance control and have only hit (1) flier all season.

I have an OG AP2 6 iron in my basement. TBH, it looks like a T150 5 iron in almost every way - including the muscle channel.. which was removed in later AP2 models.

I think whether you play T100/T150 or a combo set of the 2 comes down to ball flight and preference. I wouldn't get hung up on the lofts too much, you can always bend them 1-2 degrees weak and get even more stopping power vs the T100.

Just got done with a fitting at Miles of Golf. Some background: Been playing 10 year old Game Improvement Taylormade RSi irons. Through lessons and a golf sim have gone from a 18ish handicap to 12ish this year. Went in with the expectation of P790, Pro 245s, i530, or T-200. Fitter said he had a feeling i might like the T-150s and i was somewhat hesitant as i thought id have trouble. By far looked the best and felt the best. Hitting them was an absolute delight as my only comparison is huge game improvements. The i530 performed solid, felt like a nuke, but overall couldn’t get over the feel of the Titleist. So as a new owner of 5-Gap Wedge, very much hoping these are all-timers and I don’t have buyers remorse.

Attached my fitting details. Would appreciate reassurance that i made the right decision 😂

Had a fitting yesterday and fully expected to walk away having ordered Mizuno MP245's or 923 Forged.  Even tried the MP243.  Been gaming the 923 Hot Metal Pros w/ Modus 105 stiff shafts for the past 2-1/2 years but haven't been happy.  The T150's ended up being the most consistent and best ball flight for my swing.  I'm a mid-handicapper, but a decent striker.  Although my 7-iron speed was slow,  around 74mph if I recall, the shafts that worked best for me were TT AMT Black stiff shafts.  We tried other shafts in various flexes and lighter weights but these just seemed to fit me best. Every time we went back to the T150 with that shaft the strikes were on point and flight was spectacular.  I just need to settle on the fact that a heavier shaft is more stable for my swing and costs me some swing speed, distance.  7-iron was going 142yds with worn out Taylor Made range balls off a mat (in a dome) for the fitting (using Trackman). In my mid-50's I no longer have the power or flexibility I did in my 20's and 30's, but I'd rather have better accuracy and hit the ball shorter than be able to say I can hit an 8-iron 150 but inconsistent and flight all over the place.

Before the Mizunos I had been playing AP2's since 2008 when they were first released.  Loved those clubs but thought I needed something to help me with distance.  Guess I'm back home with Titleist, and seems to be the clubs I hit best.  The Ping Blueprints were a close second in the fitting session.
